He got us to 10 wins, a coastal championship, and the Orange Bowl in year two with Rosier at QB and true freshmen playing key roles in 3 or 4 positions on offense. Thomas, Dallas, Donaldson, and Harley playing a lot of minutes. Not to mention the thin DB position. We will be fine fellas, relax.

A bunch of over dramatic cry babies are trying to be the first ones to jump on the “coach sucks” bandwagon.

Richt isn‘t a proven championship coach but a lot of the hot takes here are painfully cliche to read.

We should've won 10 games with that schedule and the talent. I'm not saying firecthe guy but he deserves some negativity about the offense. Diaz as well.

Play calling is not problem. Our skill position players are young and inexperienced. Our QB couldn't start for any of the teams in the playoffs or Wisconsin.

He won ten games with a mediocre qb, won the coastal, and is bringing in a sick class. We have the right coach in place.

Diaz told everyone that we were thin at DB but no one wants to hear the truth. None of our DBs at championship level play and I would even venture to say that none of our DBs would have been offered scholarships in this years recruiting class. Night and day in talent with what we're bringing in this year.

Dude he ran the same plays over and over. He threw on 3rd and 2...he abandoned Dallas after he got us back in the game. Richt needs his head examine

Look what we are working with on offense? You guys think that we really are on par with the big boys already? Nah

Well get ready to cut your **** off on facebook live. And while you're at it go ahead and slice your balls too because with one you don't need the other lol.

I'm not dissing Ritch. I haven't forgotten where the program was when we fired Golden.
It's great that he has managed to change the perception and outlook in two seasons.
Having said that there are some thing that have to be addressed if we want to take the next step in our resurgance.
I'm not sure he is the OC to get us there (I think it's a mistake to tie himself into being the OC/Play caller because it limits his options)
The defense allows way too many QB's to have career days.

Serious question, take away the star rankings by ESPN / Rivals et al for a moment.

Where is all this talent that people are talking about? Don't get me wrong, we have some very good football players who will play in the NFL and some very good college players who'll stop playing football at 22.

We don't have an incredibly talented roster in my eyes.

As an example, and I don't like to single people out, but you just have to look at the left side of our Oline. McDermott and Darling were both four stars. They're not good football players.

We've done very well to win 10 games. It's going to take a few more years of elite evaluating, recruiting and coaching to get this team to the level that everyone expects Miami to be at (and we haven't been at that level for over a decade). Just enjoy the ride because it only gets better from here.

Seem a lot of offenses this year with less talent across the board be more effective that us.
I wish that wasn't the case but it true.

Miami has improved remarkably and without a QB. Was Richt a big game coach when we beat ND? VT? FSU? WV? How about the big wins he had at Georgia? 2 SEC championships, 6 SEC eastern titles. Would have been in 2 CFP if it existed. He averaged 9.67 wins per year at Georgia. With south florida talent he could do better. Maybe he shouldn't be the OC, but I think he can do it.

Jimmy Johnson hadn't done **** before coming to Miami. His second year he went 10-2 and lost his bowl game. Give Richt a chance.
