5 star recruits: 0
4 star recruits: 4
3 star & below: 40

Basically you're saying that with NFL coaches, facilities and a full time job, players not rated high in high school can be good pros. Meanwhile, to win in college, the last 10 national champions recruit consistently in the top 10
 
Wasn't Bobby Wagner a 5 star?
Either way, it's not about the stars... what matters is that a coach needs to have the ability to properly evaluate talent and make offers based on that. Unfortunately, with the current state of our program and the people who run it I would rather trust someone else like Rivals or ESPN evaluating talent than Mr. Folden
 
you know why its like that? because there are more 3 stars out there than 4-5 stars of course there are going to be those diamonds in the rough, plus not everyone i cut out for the NFL
 
But last year KB said we would sign 6 5star recruits ......
A guess some holes in that fence happend,
This sucks

There diamonds in the rough but an entire team of starters without a single 5 star isn't a diamond in the rough situation

How many idiots are going to keep posting this. The NFL doesn't = college. Show me two teams playing for a NCAA title with no highly ranked recruits and then we can talk.
 
plus we are a college fan base here, i can give two ****s how many star players are in the NFL, unless they are on the dolphins

Wow, just stating a fact about star rankings and today is signing day. Its wasn't a pro Cane or anti Cane statement. Just a very interesting fact about the 2 best Football teams in the world is full of average players when they were in High school.

There's a common trait with the remaining Golden lovers....none of them are very intelligent.
