Lol. This post means nothing.
Hey Maude’s, which previously band poster was this? Or do you think maybe it is some rival POS?

So winning is more fun than losing....
Mad scientist **** there...
Don't really care enough to track. Historically, the month before the season starts there's a parade of new posters that skew towards trolls and previously banned jackasses.View attachment 252565

It's more than they went from 7 wins to 5 wins. It's the manner in which the team played. Outside of Alabama who was lightyears ahead of us, every game in 2021 was competitive. The team never quit. Not when D'Eriq King went down. Not when they started 2-4. And not after losing to Florida State. That team had tons of holes but a least played hard.Manny won 7 games with Tyler playing at an all pro level for half the season.
5 wins isn't a huge drop off during a culture reset especially when you rely on backup QB play for half the games.
Manny had his time. He was here for 6 years.
Mario's been here for 1.5
Sit back and watch
2021 was Manny’s 6th year. It should have been rolling. He should have thrived. Yet the wheels were coming off. The only thing he had going was Lashlee and he was leaving. It's more than they went from 7 wins to 5 wins. It's the manner in which the team played. Last year's team got blown out by MTSU, Duke, Clemson, Pitt and FSU. The team quit last year. Players hated coaches and coaches hated other coaches.
Thankfully most of the problems aren't here anymore so we should se a big improvement. But let's not pretend that the 2022 season was almost the same thing as 2021.
2021 was Manny's third as a head coach and 2022 was Mario's 10th.2021 was Manny’s 6th year. It should have been rolling. He should have thrived. Yet the wheels were coming off. The only thing he had going was Lashlee and he was leaving.
Mario made mistakes at coordinator in 2022 but it’s his first year here. Big change of culture and an awful injury bug. It’s gonna be his worst season at Miami
You’re comparing one coaches peak to another’s valley and they aren’t too far off
thats not true. that was mannys third season as an HC (richt was the HC before that). mario HCed for 10 years unless you want to include all of his coaching stops like you just did with manny being an assistant.2021 was Manny’s 6th year. It should have been rolling. He should have thrived. Yet the wheels were coming off. The only thing he had going was Lashlee and he was leaving.

Manny recruited the defense for 6 years and it was trash.Watch? Last year was unwatchable and the culture toxicity was in a large part to Mario’s atrocious coaching staff not working well together or with the players…
Mario had the same TVD, decided to run an offense that didn’t work for that skill set…
Manny wasn’t the HC for 6 years, yet Mario made rookie mistakes last year as a veteran HC…
Spin. Zone….
I'm sorry, but it doesn't take time to equal the guy you fired.
He certainly didn't expect to have to make the staff turnover that happened.
I'm not even sure what the point of your thread is when you predicted 10-2 last year.
So you pointed out historically great coaches. They're outliers, while there's a list as long as Santa's of coaches we wouldn't even know the names of that started out like this and failed.
I'm not throwing in the towel and few have. It certainly hasn't been a fortuitous start, in fact it has been worse than any doubter ever dreamed.
When Manny Diaz had a rough start, Nick Saban was referred to.
When Al Golden had a rough start, Nick Saban was referred to.
Please for the love of god, stop. It's not the same. Two completely different coaches in two completely different situations, IN TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CONFERENCES, WITH TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT UNIVERSITIES, AND TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BOOSTER SITUATIONS.
STOP.
Tom Herman formerly of Texas had a rough start like Nick Saban. I say formerly because his *** WAS FIRED.
Manny Diaz was Manny Diaz.
Al Golden was Al Golden.
And Mario Cristobal is going to be Mario Cristobal. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, the jury is still out on that.
Nope. I had arguments with Paul Dee about Butch. I wanted him fired. You forget about how VT embarrassed him. He NEVER won a ring as a HC. NEVER . And the day after he left, Paul sent me an email saying simply, “You were right.” Butch could evaluate, and he could recruit. He was a very poor game coach. He went to a league where he had equal talent and got embarrassed. That’s not the goat. Those bashing Mario now have the same shallow mindset as fans in the Butch era who wanted to run Butch out of town at the beginning. They even flew a plane at a home game carrying a flag with the inscription “From champs to chimps.” They called him poor game day coach blah blah blah. Today the same fans see Butch as the goat.
