Interesting thing is that all of those guys that graduated still have their free transfer.

So why wait for the grad transfer? They could've left at any point before.

Probably because if they were that close to getting a UM degree it made lot of sense to see it through. If they are transferring down to a lower tier school good chance the degree wont carry as much weight (especially if they eventually want live in South Florida). Second part is that you usually dont get 100% of your credits to transfer over. Could have potentially set them back a little bit there as well.

Dont remember, did he enroll early? If these kids have a plan they get dual enrollment while still in high school, enroll early, multiple summer courses.. They can rock thru fast honestly.. The high school coaches have gotten really good setting some of these kids up really early..
