They will charge what the market will bear; until it doesn't and then they'll be forced to readjust.

How much are you being charged?
 
$6600 for eight seats section in 144, plus $135 per parking pass is slightly higher than last year for me.

But it's very poorly timed after such a dismal season.

The problem is, one is not permitted to buy just 1 ticket. I tried 2 years ago to buy 1 ticket and was told I had to buy 2. If I could buy only 1, it might be doable.

What's the increase? Mine was $350 more or less after the young alumni discount (S139, R11)

I get it. They come as a two-set minimum.

In market's like Miami, season tickets are priced for holders who have $2000 in disposable income--and to be honest much more. I suspect the "average" license is for 3+ seats.

For those that don't have the jingle in the pocket (zero shaming...money isn't everything), unfortunately those seats get out of price ranges for a lot of fans quickly.
 
When you have a Head Coach, an Associate Head Coach, 2 Co Defensive Coordinators, 2 Co Offensive Coordinators and a Special Teams Coordinator things get a little pricey. You want good things you pay for them.
 
There really is no justification for a price increase IMO. 7-5 season and no appealing games whatsoever next year... plus I'll have to shell out more for the UF game in Orlando. I'm probably better off buying from resale sites for next year at least.

$600 dollars for a pair of tickets that, towards the end of last season, I could barely resell for $10 on stubhub. Been a season ticket holder since 2005, but it makes zero financial sense for me to renew.

7-5 Season
terrible home schedule (CMU, UVA, VT, GT, L'ville)
no hope or enthusiasm that things will be better next year
$2000 for 4 tickets and parking (+ almost $400)

No thanks.
