Haven't heard anything solid here, but I'm interested to see what happens with these guys. Darrow, Baez, and Josephs are all valuable because they know the area and are good intermediaries between HS coaches and the staff. At the same time, I would think that Richt wants to bring some of his own guys at well. Something tells me they will allocate more resources here under Richt. This was a big focus of his at UGA.

A name that I think would be interesting to watch here is Matt Doherty. Doherty worked at Miami under Golden and was out early on guys like Skai Moore and Rashad Fenton, 2 kids who obviously blew up. He also identified Collins before he was a national recruit and pushed for Miami to lock him up early. Harbaugh hired him away this year, if that tells you anything about his credentials. He is working as Michigan's recruiting coordinator right now. I can tell you he was definitely not part of the problem with Golden. There was a lot of hard headedness in that building when it came to trusting other evaluations. He's a Miami grad and is highly respected throughout the country. If I'm Richt, I give him a call.

Matt's my fraternity brother he is a really solid guy, a no bs type and is straight up about everything. I am really happy for him his success and the reputation he has built for himself. Would love for Richt to bring him back on board but I bet Michigan pays more.

Sure you give him a call Pete, but what do you think his response will be? If I'm him, I'm coming home!

Its very much behind the scenes and not a high profile position but can be instrumental in a solid program.

My older brother went to UM with this guy, certified savage. Smart as **** and kids love him. Wisely got out of dodge, Harbaugh showed him the $$. Wonder if he'd come back.
