Folden on Joe Rose....Day After NSD

Well New Smyrna Beach may not be in south fla but a little more than 3 hours away and the family having season tickets does it for me... Jalen Merrick should've been a Hurricane... Another life long Cane fan refusing to play for Al.

WR is a strong point so only took 1 but wanted Calloway an chatman ( didnt mention by name but we all know)
Loves our Def for next year. doesn't sound like he is changing the scheme
say its going to be RB by committee to replace Duke fell that they can
TE is the best Pos this year with the group we have
2016 is a strong group they are taking a lot we to replace SR.

While you and 561 are getting your laughs, you missed what Golden did. As he typically does when questioned about his obvious ineptness -- in this case S Fla recruiting -- he throws up and demolishes a strawman.

To be clear, no one is *****ing about the OL recruiting. We're complaining about Golden's abject failure in recruiting S Fla skill position studs: WRs, DBs, RBs and LBs. They're in abundance in S Fla every year, perhaps even more so this year. Yet, Golden absolutely **** the bed.

Did he count Fentress as part of 2013?

While 561 tries to skew the discussion by narrowing it down to golden's straw man, I will correct that by asking 561 (who likely won't address it):

When you think of south Florida recruiting, do you think of O line or skill positions players first???

The obvious answer is skill position players. Yet golden throws up the south Florida O line bull****. Historically (and there is a mountain of data to support this), south Florida produces epic amounts of skill position players and a fair amount of OL players. For golden to be asked about south Florida recruiting and only address OL is fraudulent.

Fortunately for al, he has a friendly adversary in joe rose. Unfortunately for 561, I'll call his *** out with quickness. lol

Making the offensive line the lead talking point as the reason for our low rankings is such a crock. Yes, we needed some and did relatively well there, but our need at OL wasn't any bigger than our need at several other spots (CB, S, ILB, difference maker DL, RB depth, backup QB) or our need to stop letting difference makers leave the area (Ridley, SBB, Scarlett, Phillips, Davis, Davis, Irvin, Callaway, Fenton, Cronkrite, Kilby-Lane - all guys we went after and would've gladly taken on signing day) and he knows it. "Length at DB" is the other obvious BS he is trotting out ignoring the titanic misses at DB. It was another exodus from SoFla and it had nothing to do with "we can't take them all Joe" or "we needed length". The all-time F-up handling the RB spot is really one for the ages that I wish our media would ask him about just to watch him squirm.

It is becuase his scholarship counts towards this years count so it "skewed" the number. ******* DOUCHE! I cant stand Golden, and love he doesnt mention the 20 decommitts.
