The time to do it is BEFORE the bowl game. That way you can use the bowl game as PR to talk about how the program is moving forward, etc.

Think about the pre game TV coverage of a UM - UF bowl game. One 6 win team has a new coach coming in, moving the program forward, etc. The other 6 win team is about to implode, massive discontent of the fan base, etc... Then the Canes go out and get blown. This will not be pretty to witness..

Well was the Colorado state coach a hot commodity? I didn't think so, but Florida did he's a **** good coach and I know there's a lot more like him in college football we need a coach that has a good football mind, good game day coach ,good leader of man not a phony like Al golden who only looks the part....

Ha, good point. The bowl game is probably next week and only available on ESPN3. Doesn't matter though. Golden is not going anywhere. We are stuck with him until the next President is in office and even then we have to hope that he or she actually realizes how much damage Golden is doing to the program and the University of Miami brand in general.
