Focus on Oklahoma

Tennessee was only ranked for the benefit of SEC teams SOS. Just like Missouri they force these bad teams in the top 25 so the better teams can prop up their resume each time they beat them. This system is more rigged than a casino
Yes. Which is why I think it happens

5 ranked wins. 2 of which were on the road. One of which they were underdogs.

their only 2 losses are to a 11 win Ole Miss and a 9-3 Texas team with Mateer coming back too soon from injury.

Sure their offense is basically a hemroid. But their defense *****.

Are these ranked wins at the time only? Their schedule looks like ****.

"Busted coverage" my ***.
Exactly!

That 41-yard-wide receiver screen against a very good LSU defense is also suspect. Blitzing three guys in that situation against a terrible offense does not make sense.

A much better strategy is to make a very bad OU offense march methodically done the field. They proved they could only score on chunk plays against Missouri or LSU.

The two minute offense at the end of the game was also offensive.

All these things do not happen to us even with Mario at his worst.

It makes complete sense when your DC is Blake Baker. Just like he thought it was a brilliant idea to have Harold Perkins Jr covering a TE then a slot receiver on the game winning TD drive, and not rushing the passer

So is not being ranked over ND, who we beat, but here we are. Our conference affiliation is like a negative half multiplier. If you think Vandy hasn’t beat anyone, the committee believes this x1.5 for us. They have made it obvious
And they are now going to have 0 CFP not only losing out on the financial gain this year but more importantly, they just set the precedent to be left out in the future over a G5 Team. That is a really really bad precedent for the ACC to set. They basically are going to be looked at as a G5 conference publicly not just privately.

People here are fixated on why Miami should bump ND, but nobody is paying attention to an Oklahoma team that has a far worse resume than both Miami and ND.

The national media (especially SECSPN) is trying to keep the focus on ND and Miami fighting for one spot. The truth is that the 8th and 10th seed (both SEC teams) don’t belong in the tournament.

Oklahoma has no offense to speak of and has had two ugly wins vs SEC bottom feeders.

Alabama has no defense to speak of and has been eating **** since losing to that ****** Oklahoma team a few weeks ago.
Miami has a better resume than ND, Oklahoma, and Alabama (lmfao...they lost to FSU BY TWO SCORES LMFAOOOOO)

HOWEVER, the committee has shown 2 losses for most SEC and B1G teams is still in the tournament. 3 losses in those conferences is the disqualifier - not counting the Champiinship Game. 2 losses in ACC/BigXI has been the disqualifier because those schools OOC schedule stinks, Miami is an exception with the Notre Dame win and beating their best common opponent late in the year.

and THEY look like ****... if the committee is doing this whole "well we think Team A "looks" better than Team B then no way they should be in. If Miami was squeaking out close wins like back in 2017 everyone would be talking about it but no one bats an eye last over scoring only 17 two weeks in a row and needing a last minute bust in coverage to beat a team that fired its HC in season.

Great post @Ghandi. The SEC got exposed in the CFP last year and this season (especially Friday/yesterday). Georgia looked pedestrian and wasn’t able to pull away from a GT team that got smoked last weekend by Pitt. UK and SC got crushed by ACC teams. OU and Alabama looked awful against coachless, sub .500 teams. I mean, OU barely won at home against a 4-8 team with no coach and without its starting QB.

The committee needs to stop giving the SEC a special exemption from the rules it applies. ND and UM both deserve to be in.
The sec isn’t winning **** in thisnplayoff
Ohio state
Indiana
Texas Tech
Are going to curb stomp those teams
Miami and ND would do the same to ALL of them imo

Oklahoma barely beat an unranked 4 loss team without a head coach. I totally agree Miami should be ahead of both OU and ND. But we live in a corrupt greed led world of **** and ****..

Correct
Acc is albatross around our neck!
Miami needs to get out

Miami also needs to understand that!!!

Great 8 and SEC/B10 bias is alive and real

We are 8/1 to make it. We are DEAD. Get it through your skulls!!!!

3-4 years from now, we’ll see a news release of how Auburn players were involved in a betting scheme during the 2025 Iron Bowl. 10 recorded dropped passes, repeated fumbles lost on the ground, the end of game management (burning 38 seconds to throw a 1 yard pass). And I wont even be surprised when it happens.

Why is Missouri ranked again??? LOL!!

Because it helps Bama and Oklahoma having a common opponent they beat ranked. That’s why.

The SEC and ESPN know what they are doing. I admire the operation. They take care of their own mafia members well.

They get reward for beating a terrible Arkansas but Vandy drops for beating a better opponent in Tennessee.

Nice little game they have of chips.

Does anyone believe that Vandy deserved to
Move down? Of course not.
