People here are fixated on why Miami should bump ND, but nobody is paying attention to an Oklahoma team that has a far worse resume than both Miami and ND.

The national media (especially SECSPN) is trying to keep the focus on ND and Miami fighting for one spot. The truth is that the 8th and 10th seed (both SEC teams) don’t belong in the tournament.

Oklahoma has no offense to speak of and has had two ugly wins vs SEC bottom feeders.

Alabama has no defense to speak of and has been eating **** since losing to that ****** Oklahoma team a few weeks ago.

Not to mention that LSU threw that game yesterday to help the SEC.

I understand many will not comprehend that the corruption goes beyond the referees.

I was just talking to my buddy about this. If how you win and the eye test BS matters, then Oklahoma should 100% be out after these last two weeks. Their entire resume is really their win over Bama. Their other “ranked” wins are over supremely overrated Tennessee and Missouri who are 4 loss teams now and also Auburn who is a 7 loss team now.

It disgusts me that OU and bama are getting in.

OU has been fielding putrid offenses on a weekly basis and for some reason, the committee isn’t holding them to any standard.

Bama, lost to this putrid offense and got destroyed by fsu. If anyone is at risk to being left out, it’s bama. My hope is that uga wins by 2-3 scores - a 3 loss team coming off a bad loss will be a bad look for the cfp

These last 2 games were awful and guess what’s going to happen?

They will flip spots with ND moving up to 8 creating further space from Miami and OU will finish 9th. Miami will stay 12th although BYU didn’t look good yesterday but to create the space to not discuss ND.

They will lose in the first playoff game unless they get a G5 team.

Only real shot is a Georgia blowout of Bama.

What happened to the Mateer fan club?

I liked Seth Roberson the most, but that guy looks like a born loser. He was never able to elevate his Baylor teams.

Still, I was a huge Mateer fan and he’s been very bad against much better competition. Can’t really run like he was running in the PAC-12 and he’s been slow to make reads and decisions.

This is a waste of time. Bama has the best win this year at Georgia. That alone insulates them. Bama beating 4 win South Carolina by a TD is viewed as a better win than Miami beating a 4 win Stanford for instance. They will be in no matter what. Oklahoma beat them. Surviving the SEC schedule, even if trash, is going to carry a ton of weight + beating Michigan. We don’t have the quality wins they do in the eyes of the committee. I wont be surprised if ND and Miami are left out for Vandy tbh

I’m going to be a broken record on this. The eye test does not matter for SEC teams.

OU beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. The committee reveres that and that’ll alone will keep OU.

I’ll say it again. For the SEC it only matters who you beat, not who you lost to.
The announcers even said it last night in the Bama game. Exactly what you are saying basically:

The SEC it doesn’t matter by how many points you win by but what counts is that you win and survive the game.

It’s a cult brother.

Anything for the greater good of the conference! It also means more $ for all of them.

Maybe the ACC can take some notes.
