Fly the BANNER and pay the Buyout

What is the buyout? We paid or are paying Temple $4mil to buyout that contract to get Manny. He’s reportedly making $3.1mil a year and has a 5 year deal.
Assuming his contract is guaranteed that’s $12.4mil left to pay him.
Then what’s the buyouts for the entire offensive staff? Word is Enos is making $1mil per season.
The only way I see this working this season or next is if someone takes over like Leach in a CMR capacity. He runs the offense and Manny still has full control of the defense. Then Leach or whomever can fire the whole defensive staff in a couple years if they deem fit. This could make the buyouts manageable. Good news is we aren’t in an FSU situation where we simply don’t have any money.
 
I keep seeing people saying firing Manny is crazy. Fire him now. Court other coaches now instead of fighting for a coach at the end of this year or next year. Then grabbing what is left.
 
Sh$t get on the recruiting trail now. Show the candidates the facilities new dorms now. This is a disaster. Not going to get better. Media is already at Manny's throat. Why wait for the inevitable to happen.

Defense is Manny's specialty. If the defense was performing I could understand waiting. It's not. Hear all the Blake Baker talk. If you really believe that Manny has just sat back the last few weeks and let Blake Baker do whatever he wants your nuts. This is Manny's team. This is his defense. If the defense isn't performing what does he hang is hat on? What area of the team shows us things can get better? All three faces of the game have been trash. Blame coordinators all you want. That's on the coach.

Uhhh. We have far less money than F$U sadly.
