Stop taking everything so personal. I said it did not reflect well on CIS that people were nuking threads. You can take that how you want to. I said it did not reflect well that immediately a mod was more concerned about "personal vendettas" than the actual situation at hand. You then went off the handle.

Feel free to disagree with me. There are plenty here that do and obviously think the better solution is to just never talk about the creep again. That is a legit disagreement even if I feel strongly otherwise.

But fixating on my posts and opinions as opposed to the actual situation at hand is just weird. Getting super emotional and telling people to kill themselves is weird. Deeply weird.

Pretty simple. I love the U. I love the community. I don't post here because I hate forums in general but I have been a CIS guy almost since it started.

I love this community so much that I think we have an obligation to make sure everyone knows about this sicko. That he can never do what he did, which is relocate from one community (volleyball) to another (ours) again. I have experienced this with my parish growing up. The inclination to want to not talk about it is understandable. It is gross and sickening and just not fun to think about.

But not talking about it helps the sicko. That's it. So despite me hating forums, I got all the time in the day for this sht. I don't care about some childish moderator telling me to go kill myself. I don't care about how uncomfortable this situation makes you. I care about this creep never being able to be around kids again. Around recruits again. Or any other community ever having to do this again.

Like I said, pretty simple.

He’s not on cis. @lindend covers people’s predictions and that guy is one of them. Lindend had no knowledge that this guy is a convicted *** offender. None of us did. So I’m not going to tolerate being called a defender of a pedo *** offender sorry.

Thanks for that as I thought he was a direct poster and I don’t fault @lindend for not knowing about this guys sordid past but IF this is true ( and again it seems it is ) then I would think that would end anything we ever hear of this disgusting piece of **** ever again directly or indirectly.

I used the word allegedly, not @RVACane. And if you are a halfway intelligent attorney, then you know that word is not designed to protect Flo, but is instead clearly utilized to protect CIS (and me). Because until I look at something for myself, I am not going to speak in absolutes, especially something as terrible and character-debasing as pedophilia. Suffice to say, if what's being reported is true, I personally won't be consuming any of his media going forward or otherwise marketing his work.

But I am not replacing my own investigation with the word of anonymous poster(s) on the internet. Especially when the/those poster(s) created brand new accounts to report on something that appears to have happened 14 years ago (at least based on the article and *** offender registry information posted). I question the timing and the motivations of such people, who either are not part of this CIS community in the first place, or are/have been, but decided to obfuscate their username by creating an alt.

And I didn't delete the first thread, but I absolutely understand why it was deleted. But notably when @Damiencane86 posted some of the same information, it was not deleted. Because he is a member of this community standing behind his reputation here, which makes his motivations in posting that info are far less questionable IMO.

If you were a halfway decent attorney, you would know that section 230 borderline makes anything I say on here not something that CIS is liable for. You as well. The site is protected by 230 for anything you or I say. You are also not liable for simply leaving the content up unless ordered by a court to take it down.

Go do your own investigation then as some of us have like finding the actual court docs and the contemporary reporting and the google drive file that the parents in the community at the time put together to address the situation where there is clear acknowledgement that it occurred.

Do that instead of coming at my ***. I also find it hilarious that your first response is you need to do more investigation in one situation but with the other you immediately jump to there being an agenda. I guess that requires no investigation as well. I have had this account since 2022 but have been following D's sht since shortly after it started. Some of us don't love the 1990s era forum.

You are supposedly an attorney. If you are, you would know this is not a court of law. Of course we shouldn't speak in absolutes if the question is the exercise of state power but that is not what this is. I have personally seen enough and dug up enough over the last 8 hours including the court docs, the contemporary reporting, the google drive file, and also Flo admitting it in private chats.

That is enough for the court of public opinion and for social judgment. This is not a court of law. You should know better.

You seem to not understand what was said. The site has no liability here. Locking down threads is not a legal issue, it is a choice of the site's moderators. One I disagree with. They are allowed to have their views and I am allowed to have mine.

The only thing worth responding to here is the absurdity that I somehow came at you. You called me a coward unprovoked, and claimed me and RVA were defending Flo.
