Florida State spring game features concert with Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa, Rob Base

Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa and Rob Base came to get down with the Seminoles

It takes two to make a thing go right, but it takes three to make Florida State's spring football game out of sight.
Florida State announced Thursday that its spring game will push it beyond the normal two-hour window of fun with Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa and Rob Base performing a postgame concert at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The game itself will kick off at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 14. Tickets to the event are $5 in advance and $10 the day of the event.

It will be fun to compare this with the inevitable "Fat Ice" in a 'Noles shirt video sure to be all over the 'net!

What if ice puts up the u during his performance.I'm sure thenole heads told him no cane gear.

I doubt this concert is designed for recruits, it's mostly to get some asses in the seats, and appealing to middle aged people would be a solid way to get that done. It's also a cost efficient way, you know these guys aren't getting the same kind of money a guy like Future would demand. I couldn't care less.

So which is the side show? The way over the hill has been entertainers or the downhill boxcar derby racer the use to be a football team?

I have a buddy that goes to FSU that says they have Young Thug and Lil Uzi scheduled the night before but i havent seen that anywhere.

Probably being deflective because he knows Corch Taggart is Urkel v2.

Vanilla Ice isn't a Miami fan. It was part of his fake persona in the early 90's. He was claiming to have been from Miami but he's really from somewhere in Texas. Hurricane football was all the rage then, so he was sporting UM gear to play up his "Miami" image. I know he lives in Palm Beach now and fixes houses or some **** but a Hurricane fan, he is not.

It could have been worse, he could have worn []_[] gear in this abomination.

Apparently, Mr. Van Winkle lived in Miami Lakes as a kid and then moved to Dallas. When he first hit it big, he said a bunch of really stupid stuff that made his fake back story real easy to debunk. For example, he said he went to Palmetto High because that's where Luther Campbell went. The fact that Campbell actually went to Miami Beach was lost on him. That said, few one hit wonders have gotten more mileage out of one song and you've got to admit, it's a **** catchy song.

One of the few flash-in-the-pan artists that did right by his money. He's been living comfortably ever since.

Yeah, see, this is what I thought, too.

Somebody on here posted that he has a major meth addiction, but a major meth addiction and a one-hit wonder hanging on to his cash, well, that doesn't exactly go together.

I agree... I believe he was wearing a U cap while doing a music video or something... doesn't mean he's a fan. I saw him on TV doing a pool construction or remodeling show several years ago. Hey "Ice Ice Baby" needs to make a living, maybe looking for another catchy hit.
