I hate al as much as the next mope but if he had landed the recruits he should have next year we would be back **** even this year we beat Fsu with Collin Michel and cook. And all those other misses.
 
the way i see it, were stuck w golden for another year so i hope for the programs sake it is a top 10 finish for this team bc another coaching change would set us back before it gets better. if we were gonna fire golden it should have been done after the Pitt game but since its not happening we just have to hope this moron turns it around next year.
 
He's not on a upward trend like Butch, u could see BDs players were boss level when they left. AG players were still struggling individually at there positions.

the only one i say isn't a real miss is Cook since we kinda made a choice between yearby and cook even if no one wants to believe it. Yearby followed Coley to FSU and then followed him to Miami after that and I've heard both central RBs didnt want to play together in college.

I'm sorry a good recruiter lands both, look at fsus backfield it's a miami backfield in terms of next man up.
 
He is a mediocre recruiter who makes up for it by being an absolutely horrible coach
 
FSU will make the playoff again next year. Meanwhile, the Canes will be in dogfights with the likes of UVA and UNC.

Butch's had only 3 players drafted after his 4th year: Edgerrin James, Nick Williams and Scott Covington. 2001 (after year 6) was when the Cane's really started to dominate the NFL Draft with guys like Morgan, Wayne, Moss and Lewis. That domination continued until 2004.

Butch's had only 3 players drafted after his 4th year: Edgerrin James, Nick Williams and Scott Covington. 2001 was when the Cane's really started to dominate the NFL Draft with guys like Morgan, Wayne, Moss and Lewis. That domination continued until 2004.

No, I love Butch and was ****ed when he left. I have liked Golden and still have hope but have been very disappointed like everyone else. I do think our roster is much stronger this year and really under achieved. Nothing to defend here. I'm as frustrated as the next Cane's fan but reading the same Fire Golden and hire Butch threads have been really irritating. Golden will determine his own fate next season.
