Plus:

+Drain Larkin: Barry's son was all up in FSU's guts tonight, scoring 22 points.

+Reggie Johnson: Scored 14 points and lead the team with 8 boards. Was a force in the paint.

+Julian Gamble & Durand Scott: Were their usual selves, scoring 10 and 13 points respectively.

Minus:

-Kenny Kadji: Dude's been money all year, but he got into early foul trouble and couldn't really get into a rhythm all night. He ended up with more fouls (5) than points (3).

-Refs: Because they ******* suck.

-Noles: Because they ******* suck.

Our FT shooting down the stretch was horrendous. We also made a couple of poor decisions in crunch time... Durand Scott had a great game except for the last two minutes. He had no business shooting that three or taking that difficult, contested shot without running some clock. We could have easily run off another 15 seconds on each possession. Shane did the same thing one possession later, but he at least had an open layup that just didn't go in. I'd like to see better decision-making down the stretch. Overall, though, we played quite well for 35 of the 40 minutes.

Ah ok.

Plus

+Shane Larkin: Carried this team when they needed it the most. Some careless passes, but showed great poise in a hostile arena.
+Big Reggie: Was unstoppable down low and got some big offensive rebounds, also made a clutch FT to make the game 2 possessions.
+Durand Scott: our leader, made tough baskets and made some key defensive plays. Very efficient night by Durand.

Minus

-Turnovers: Very sloppy game by our team tonight, learn from our mistakes and improve upon them vs Clemson
-FT shooting: To be blunt, absolutely pathetic, definitely need to work on them in future practices, definitely our major flaw at the moment.
-Refs: Were complete and utter *******

Not sure what was more pathetic, FSU flopping all up and down the court, or the refs falling for it, if not enabling it.

I'd say Kadji was not 100%, and it showed. Not a complete excuse, but I think he was feeling some pain. He looked bad tonight. Also, Scott made not 1, but 2 boneheaded decisions by rushing shots under 2 minutes, nursing 6 and 4 point leads. Work the **** shot clock. A senior should know that.

Best move of the night was Coach L sitting Larkin's *** down for not hustling or looking like he gave a rat's *** to be out there.

Oh, the refs were absolutely BRUTAL

Kadji's 4th foul was a charge where all he did was back his defender down in the post and the dude flopped like he had been hit by a double-decker bus. Vlade Divac would have been proud of that performance.

That's why Kadji was in my minus. New rule says you can't post up against FSU in their house. Gotta know the rules Kenny.

I think the foul trouble hurt Kadji more than the sore shoulder. He got hit with a couple of questionable calls, and he spent pretty much the entire game in foul trouble. It's hard to get into any kind of rhythm like that.

Agreed on Scott... these are mistakes that a senior should not make at the end of close games. (Add to that his foul against BC.) He had a really nice game, but those two clutch possessions were just bad.
