Maurice needs to insert Mackie Samoskevich in the line up for offense. This game will haunt us as we let it slip out of our hands. Their goalie from the third period on was fantastic. Bob was good too but our defense couldn't clear the puck. They should not resign Aaron Ekblad. He is slow, can't clear the puck, afraid to shoot, and last night instead of trying to block the second goal by the Oilers he turned his body and shied away. They scored as a result of him being a *****. Terrible play by Nosek that led to the loss. Need to regroup quickly and a must win Friday. What is this team going to look like without Bennett next year?
 
At the end of the 2nd period Wayne Gretzky said it best. The Panthers are playing rope a dope. When we get the puck, they send it across the blue line and do not set up any plays. I think we were exhausted, even that early in the game.

I agree with you. Very little passing and just shoot the puck in.

I’m a die hard Canes, heat and dolphins fan and never cared about the panthers until the last few years. Admittedly a bandwagon but what a few years it’s been. What a series and what a game last night. Let’s go!!
