I love this team.

They need to apply the last lesson of winning the cup. You have to be willing to kill the other team dead. I'm sorry, they've got to die. This is "but I don't want to do it" bull**** and it isn't going to cut it. Bob will have to play his very best game...perhaps the best game of his career. Ekblad will need to be even better than he was in Game 2 with Gus to contain McDavid (G2 was excellent). Barky, Swaggy, Reino, Bennett, Rodriguez, Vladi, especially Montour. Everyone on this team will need to put together a full 60...maybe more. Need to be their absolute best.

Its the toughest game this franchise will ever have to win.

I hope they are mad.

They are taking us to championship rounds. Deep waters. McDavid is the best player on the planet and he's scoring a ton right now and I don't think he's played a Great One type of game and he might just have one in him. Immortality awaits him, too. You don't want this to be the stuff of legends.

But, this is where you earn it.

Grind'em down, put the clamps on McDavid and slip in the rear naked choke at the end...

This team got too relaxed. Too subtle. Lost their 'fear'. And last night, it got jolted into them being down 3-0 in the 2nd. From then on, we were by far the better team, which we have been the majority of this series.

Lastly, the boogeyman has woken up. Tkachuk has finally entered this series and that's going to be the last nail in Edmontons coffin.

Still waiting on the perfectly timed Verhaeghe goal. He is due right about now and needs to show the **** up!

Panthers are an embarrassment to hockey. What the **** kind of product are they putting on the ice? I am not even watching the puck anymore. Just focus on the guys slowly, lazily skating with no speed/intensity. Look at the lazy passes that get picked up for a breakaway goal. This is the kind of **** that reeks of insider sports gambling--like the team is throwing the game or something. There is no effort. It's one thing to lose in a tight match. They aren't even being competitive, that's what so egregious.

I am so thoroughly disappointed. South Florida has shown up and supported these guys for a while now and they have diarrhea'd all over the mattress. My goodness. Anyone looking forward to the Oilers lifting Lord Stanley in our own living-room come Monday?

I know I can't wait.

Well, it wasn't the powerplay this time. It was the five-on-five. Our forwards are doing nothing. If they wait for the third period again in the next game, we will be cooked right away bigly. They solved Bobby.

Can someone please explain to me wtf happened? Is this just a case of us completely losing momentum? Did someone get injured? Wtf happened

Versus the best player on planet earth with the weight of a franchise that went a good 20 years of being the absolute worst in all of American professional sports on your shoulders.

If this isn't why we watch sports, I am not sure what to tell you.

Sports will never love you back. Sports doesn't owe anything to anyone. But what a time to be alive.

Hope all of the boys show up on Monday. This is the game you pretend to play when you're a kid, by yourself, grinding on something you love and no one else does. This is what its all about.

I know I can't wait.

I went to game 1 where we were outplayed and I wondered if it meant anything.

We handled them easily regular season. We were methodical with everyone. Now? I don’t recognize us.

I did not watch last night. I knew it was going to game 7. Up 3-0 and now we aren’t even really competitive.

Fact is I went off the deep end watching our players let McDavid take the puck from behind the net in his zone untouched to behind Bob. I said then that I feel like the league sent out a do not touch memo even after they cheap shotted our best in games 1-3.

I will watch Monday but only hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Wish this was the Heat because I wouldn’t give a **** then.
