No decent head coach would ever agree to a job where his hands are tied and he has to live with an existing DC. That's just a non-starter. If that's the Turds' condition, they're gonna wind up with the Goldens of the world. Sure hope this is true!

Why Frost would want to step into a job where the AD is forcing you to retain people is beyond me. I’d tell them to **** their own face. If I am gonna coach anywhere, I decide to stays and who goes.

Their admin wants to retain Radio because they know how important it is to recruit Miami/S. Florida. Without someone already plugged in and The U locking things down, it'll be bad for them to get golden grinders.

The SEC has really taken a downgrade in coaches over the past few years. It's Saban and everyone else.

They jury is still out on Smart, but the rest of the field is incredibly mediocre.

I think Chip Kelly goes to UCLA and think Scott Frost stays out one more year at UCF. I think Florida pays a pretty penny for Dan Mullen although I believe he is a good coach what he is doing at Mississippi State will not be good enough for fans in Gainesville.

Florida wants to keep Shannon and most of the defensive staff intact. Will effect some of their candidates.

What's wrong with that? Randy is a great defensive coordinator. And a **** good recruiter.
Many reasons. First, you're dead wrong. Shannon is at best a mediocre DC and is an incredibly lazy recruiter. Second, any coaching candidate worth a **** is going to insist on picking his own assistants. He's certainly not going to agree to let the school impose a DC/defensive staff on him from the getgo. Any candidate who would, you wouldn't want.

They do know that Shantard is a horrible recruiter right. And that he hates it?
