Aquinas (Ft. Laduerdale) Two returning starters backfilled with double-digit transfers.
Miami Central Nasty defense. Solid offense. Looking to four-peat.
Flanagan Maybe second-best D in state. New QB adds to O.
Mainland (Daytona Beach) District stayed south means MC in regionals.
IMG Academy (Bradenton) Frontline talent unmatched. Depth could be an issue.
American Heritage (Plantation) Lost a few kids but still 5A fave.
Hallandale As talented as any roster anywhere.
Coconut Creek Best defensive backfield in the state. Could push much higher.
Dr. Phillips (Orlando) Finally a legit schedule to test its talent.
Wakulla (Crawfordville) Returns almost everyone and was 8-3 last year.
Cocoa Only five seniors but loads of talented underclassmen.
Lakeland So much talent, Charmin soft schedule. Love the offense.
Manatee (Bradenton) Rumors of its demise greatly exaggerated.
Columbus (Miami) Not many namebrand players but will factor in 8A playoffs.
Venice Some think this is a Top 10 team, others not so much.
Apopka Losing Ivey and Cox is tough. Same gun, new bullets.
Booker T. Washington (Miami) Opening with Aquinas is tough with talent exodus.
Osceola (Kissimee) Wilson and Brown will churn out yards on the ground.
Plant (Tampa) QB Culpepper is best since Ely for Panthers.
Miramar Will it find a QB to play behind solid OL?
Heritage (Palm Bay) Games with Vero Beach, Bolles, Osceola measure early.
West Orange (Winter Garden) The evolution of QB Woody Barrett is key.
American Heritage (Delray) We slept on it last preseason, snoozing this year.
Lake Mary Solid team last few years. Risk mangament.
First Coast (Jacksonville) Graduated too much to justify higher placement.
