This is our pitch and in pro sports it holds true.

In college sports it’s a little different.

For example the market for a Player at Bama or Clemson isnt just Tuscaloosa Or Clemson. It’s the entire state which basically balances it out.

This isn't necessarily true. I get the gist of what you're saying but keep in mind that Alabama does have a heavy contingency of auburn supporters. Same as South Carolina with the gamecocks.

In the long run, playing in a major media market should go a lot further than what some of these country/rural areas can offer. Much more sustainable.

Tua was more famous as Bamas QB the last 2 years than Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Tannehill.

I rest my case.

You're comparing a Heisman hopeful, championship QB to two middle of the road, journeymen NFL QB's, but I'll bite. Tua is one guy. He had a great career there and made quite a name for himself, no doubt. With that being said how many Tua's can the Alabama economy support? If Miami goes on another run like the early 2000's, I assure you that our QB won't be the only one making cake. Plenty of guys are going to make goo-goo money off their likeness. If history has shown us anything, when the Hurricanes have it going they're the #1 brand in college football. TV ratings, merchandising, ticket sales, etc. Everything just goes thru the roof.

GO CANES!!
