Florida’s second scrimmage notes

QBs 18 for 19 245 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INTs
Defense only allowed 34 yards and 0 TDs, 4 INTs

These stats were probably "alternative facts". Meaning the QB stats were compiled and reported against the 2nd, 3rd, and scout team defense and the 1st team defensive stats were compiled against the 2nd, 3rd and scout team offense. They didn't combine them so they would look better. They probably didn't do any 1s vs 1s either.

I could most definitely see Franks carving up the 2nd team secondary since they probably had scout team and walk on players on it since they have zero depth.

That makes no sense. It’s like saying that there is zero rain in the forecast while it’s pouring rain outside.

Last year LSU was falling apart and had no right to be on the field with us based on preseason. It’s UF their SEC, it’s going to be a dog fight.

last year mark richt was coaching and sipped cuba libres all off-season apparently, instead of preparing our offense for the season. jon richt was coaching the QB's, and zach fecals was punting.

it's a different team and a way different culture

So you’re thinking 41-10 Miami because we have new coaches. Cool

Different coaches for different college programs have different goals for their scrimmages.

There is no way to predict anything from a scrimmage report. There is no way to project into the season from a scrimmage report. Keep those two things in mind.

To be fair when I was at Lockhart and Golden and Company were wearing "Drown out the Noise" T-Shirts I knew the wheels had officially come off and we would 100% give up 5 trillion yards on defense.

I think most people knew they were going to give up 5000 trillion yards on defense after the first game they ever coached down here, which was the Maryland game. That’s when you realized they completely changed the scheme to a slow read and react.

To think about all the players wasted on that defense and subsequent teams just gives me :indian tears:.

Bro I don’t know if your reading comprehension skills are lacking, but I clearly stated in a response that I don’t have the membership required to view 247’s vip reports.
My reading comprehension skills were satisfactory enough to get me 2 law degrees and through the BAR on the first try. Access to VIP has nothing to do with it.

You wanna guess again? Come on, use your words. You can do it.

Are you a frigging Gaytor? Because that's some serious Gaytor Logicz right there. Just because a UM fan points out that we we had some issues under Richt (and that Richt is no longer here), you turn it into a "Miami fan predicts blowout" exaggeration.

Relax.

We won 10 games two years ago. I believe that we underpeformed under Richt, I don't think we were "as bad as" 7 wins. I'm not predicting 15-0, but there is certainly room for some optimism. It's not crazy to think that we can win 10-12 games with different guidance from our offensive-side coaches.

Ok, then why did you say look at the poster? That implied that you were talking about how I posted something from a biased website when I clearly said that I don’t have access to the vip notes. And for having 2 law degrees you are a jerk.

There’s gaytor written all over this thread.

I’m absolutely a jerk... and you’re absolutely a gaytor troll.

5 turnovers, 10 penalties and 500 yards against Maryland. Just wait until Golden recruits players for his scheme...
