Tired and jealous seeing and hearing flips to other schools. When are ours coming D$ being that our strategy depended on late season flips.
"mId AcC" team that has most ACC wins in last 3 years. "Run up the middle" same run design that was top 3 nationally and led ACC in YPR attempt last season.Don't lose to mid ACC teams and actually have an offense that isn't subpar with runs up the middle. Then just maybe top recruits will consider Miami

Relying on flips is a low probability strategy to land top 5 classes. The one year it worked out for us is the exception, not the rule.
This songs seems to be stuck on repeatDoesn’t really seem like recruiting is about to take off for this class. Given how down UF and FSU are we should be doing better.
Yes perception for ACC doesn't help Miami for sure.No doubt, there is always some level of "emotional posting" after a loss. It happens here as well as in other forums.
However, a loss to an ACC team is always a bad loss, save a Clemson or FSU when they were legit top-10.
Reason being the other ACC teams will show well against certain opponents, but also have some very bad losses, especially to OOC teams.
I'm sure you're a knowledgeable college FB fan who can offer valid counter-arguments, but most recruits are not as knowledgeable of the game and swallow the national mainstream opinion that ACC football is absolute trash, which is the mindset we have to recruit against.
So it doesn't help when we lose this games.
We don't get the same benefit of doubt that an SEC team does when they get boatraced by a bad opponent like Bama vs FSU this year.

Louisville is a good program that wins 9 or 10 games per season under Brohm.
Miami is not as talented as those Clemson or FSU teams right now, and thus the gaps arent big between Miami, Louisville, SMU, GT, etc....
Louisville had the best WR and RB on field the other night, and better playcaller. It was enough.
SMU will have the better QB in our matchup, better playcaller, home field, it will be tough.
Hard for me to say every ACC loss is bad, when I know these teams are good teams.
Now outside perception I do understand that.
Sorry but Toney is better than Bell.Yes perception for ACC doesn't help Miami for sure.

It is hard to flip guys when some of these recruits already got a part of their NIL payments.
Man what worked last year isn't guaranteed to work this year. The team is different. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism. It is actually needed if you want to improve. They need to be more versatile on offense. They need to give more guys opportunities to play. We recruit these guys and they don't play I don't understand it."mId AcC" team that has most ACC wins in last 3 years. Recruiting has always mattered with bags it’s just in the open now. Saban was a master we in that second tier and there is a big drop off from top tier to second. He better pray his lower rated guys become monsters, that can help.“Recruiting” got neutralized with NIL. You wanna be top 5? Spend like a top 5 team. You can go 1-11 and still land the top dogs if you have(and spend) $$$
The curse in this team is evident bc we hired a master recruiter right when recruiting has never mattered less…
