There has been confidence regarding the Hurricanes standing in that recruitment to that point, but the Vandy247 site then reported Stewart made it to Nashville for the Missouri game. That's why when it is between the choice of a recruiter or a tactician, recruiter is always the answer. At the very least, if things go wrong you leave talent for the next guy. This team was so far behind in talent, size, speed etc. We had no chance to compete with elite teams. Sure there is more to be desired from a scheme standpoint, but that can change with one good hire. Filling out the roster with top talent can take years.
