Flemming

Stubbs did his job. Flemming did not. I don't have knowledge what occured to get him booted but it is not football related and good for the program not to put him on blast.
Kids make mistakes. He's going to go to FSU or some other school and put up big numbers and were gonna have daz who probably will have to have another hip surgery by the time he leaves Miami. I don't know if you know anything about hip surgery but that's a red flag for a 17 year old, especially for a receiver playing contact football. Fleming is the type of south Florida talent you can't let go somewhere else.

All I know is this WR group in Sofla was as good and deep as I've seen at least 5-6 years, at least on par with 2 years ago.

And we don't have a Fleming type right now, especially if Thomas bails, and honestly he looks extremely disinterested in UM football. To walk away from this group (and we know they wanted 4, and 4 are needed with only 7 including few on the roster, 8 if Thomas comes back) with only Restrepo (who I really like don't get me wrong) is sad

TJB
Rosemy
Henderson
Fleming
Poitier
Canion
Emilen
Alford (WR-TE)
J.Williams
Gowdy

and others (the other Deerfield kids, Lewis (Ath), St. Louis (Ath)) ... Is a crime. I like Redding and Worsham, but to miss on some of these, force one out, and ignore the rest is a crime. Sure the top 3 were tough gets, no doubt...But would we have been able to sneak one of them with the right WR coach? As for the other evaluations and passes... It would be different if we could point to Stubb's past and say "he knows what he's doing" trust him. But he has no track record. I believe he is as stubborn as Enos and I think he doesn't know/give a **** about how important it is for UM to get South Florida kids.

Enos/Barry/Stubbs = no idea how to recruit, especially in Sofla...We got Restrepo. That's 1 for 11 in Sofla WR these (offered 6-7)...We need 4 or 5 OL...We have 2, and are sending out offers 1 by 1 waiting on a longshot like Morris.

you are clearly in this kid's corner. That's fine. But where was everyone else all season? Where were the people giving him recruiting advice? Not in Miami's corner, that's for sure. I don't buy there's no reason for the staff moving on. We're still recruiting Francois and he's been all over.

The kid wanted to be a cane. His family is mostly all canes fans. The staff had their reasons, you're right. I just don't agree with them or believe in this staff anymore.

I'm not saying all that. I just think it was a mistake talent wise to let this kid go.

To turn this team around coach needs to have the time to coach and if he's spending time have to worry about all this non related football stuff ut only takes away from the team. For whatever reasons the youngman and the U parted ways it is what it is and we have to focus on the guys who are here and the guys incoming. Maybe if Manny was a head coach with 10-15 years head coaching experience I would say give the kid a shot but it's just better both us as a team and him as a recruit. Wish him well wherever he goes.

Is there a "bad eval" with any of the current 2020 receivers that give you an impression 2021 will be bad? I believe they're all 4* receivers.
We’ve already had one decommit and I’d expect Eaford to do the same. They are good rising players who were at paradise. Those evals were based off the camp setting. But if you lose them, it’s still bad.

I see your point you're trying to get at, that some players are cancers to a team and un coachable, but Marcus is not that. So you agree Manny is in over his head? lol. As well as both his offensive and defensive coordinators. How does Manny even know what a championship culture looks like? He never played college football or won a championship as a coach. Besides the one year at FSU under bobby Bowden I don't really see any championship lineage in his coaching experience that breeds confidence to run a program. He shouldn't have been hired in the first place.
