It is impressive what Fleck has been able to do there. Getting kids to Minnesota can't be easy with that weather. Lets see if its sustainable. That division is pretty wide open if you can get by Wisconsin and Iowa. Especially with NW and the cornsuckers down like they are.

How is it short sighted? If he likes his job and is going to get paid a lot of money it seems like a smart decision. Why take a chance of fizzling out at a school that will expect championships ever year?

Not worried about them, Zero Florida connections. Stoopes is 59 yrs old. He walked away from Oklahoma when they wee doing ok and they doing better without him. Think Richt , Stoopes just has name recognition.

Funny when a bigger name school has an occupancy, guys at the smaller name schools start getting extensions. That might keep him there for a few more years. If he continues to do well, a big time school will have no problem buying out four or five years left on a contract.
