Flaws UF can expose

Love how they didn’t even highlight a true flaw lmao. Like yeah he was playing behind a G5 offensive line against P5 level D Lines. Not the case here.

Fair article. If the roles were reversed, we’d be saying the same things. Ward has fumbled a ton because he’s held onto the ball too long and taken a million sacks. Those things are true. But he’s also very accurate and made a ton of off-schedule plays too.

So yeah, he has flaws. Not many players don’t. But if you lined up Miami’s 2024 offense against WSU’s 2023 offense and picked the 10 best kids to surround Ward, I think at least 9 kids from this Miami team start. Maybe all 10. So sure, the gator can think they can exploit his flaws. I prefer to think his flaws are masked by a MAJOR influx of talent around him at every single position, a better defense, and instead of his flaws being exposed, his skills are accentuated and he flourishes.

We’ll see who’s right in 2 weeks. My money is on him and this offense tearing their *** the **** up.

DMario I mean D$ gonna call the hitman...

Pretty good article, ward flaws vs pressure is probably the main reason he wasn’t high on draft boards.

Regardless of your oline situation your completion percentage shouldn’t drop from 73% to 44% when under pressure thats terrible . Thats why alot of people say sacks are a qb stat, the elite qbs evade pressure and process fast so the ball is out quick to beat the pressure

If he wants to be considered a first rounder he has to play better in structure, better pocket management, increase that 44% when pressured to 65% and above

Ward had no line and average WRs other than two above average guys.
Don’t look too much into this.

Good thing they have no pass rushers, like literally nobody that is a threat. If they send extra, which they most definitely will have to, he will kill them.

Our offense is going to steamroll them lol. Dawson is a kid in a candy shop. Run the ball? Martinez won't see first contact for 3-4 yards. Pass the ball? Ward will have all day to pick them apart. We're putting 35+ on them.

The only way they have a prayer is to try to "stay on schedule" with the same type of offense Louisville ran against us last year. But 1. our LBs and DEs are playoff level now, night and day vs last year, and 2. their OL will not be able to generate a push when running or hold out pass rush for more than a 2-mississippi count on throws. It's not going to work. They will not keep up.

Funny too because I just spoke to UFbartstool and he seems to think DL is a strength of theirs this year.

Gainesville is very confident this will be a cake walk for them. I’m ready to put these SEC sunshine pumpers in their place

If: Kentucky/LSU/Missouri/Arkansas can score 31+ so can we
