Blake doesnt have the pull to make or demand anything... "alongside Mark" tells me there is zero accountability
 
All this means is that he's going to politely ask Richt to reach out to some obscure DII OC as a gesture of being open to change before signing off on promoting Mrs. Richt to offensive quality analyst / team mom.

Go get Jedd Fisch. Not saying he is the savior but he did a good job with our QBs and he can at least be trusted. And most importantly, he strikes me as an arrogant guy who just wont give a f*ck about what Richt tells him to do

Unless James grew a set on the flight back last night and fires Richt in the next 48 hours, nothing is going to change. Richt doesn't fire anyone, let alone his own limp **** son, and he's not going to turn the reigns of the offense over to anyone who isn't a yes-man. At the absolute most we can expect another lazy hire or promotion for an off-field analyst to an on-field position who will keep running Richts antiquated, 4-play system that only Rosier can master.

It's over. I'm glad I was alive for our 6 Natty's but the U as we once knew it is dead.

Sounds like he got an ear full all game long. ****, after the idiotic promotions on the D side, Richt had to be under some pressure to show his O can pick up the slack. Not only did it not pick up any slack, it took another step backwards. There are dudes on here that could put together a better O, and that's just sad. That was worse than watching Pat Nix, and it wasn't even close.

My question is this. Why can't the school FORCE him to hire an OC? Why can't they fire assistant coaches? Aren't there ways to make Richt so **** uncomfortable he wants out? OK, so we can't fire you, but we can fire your wife, son, and all your inexperienced yes men. Why the **** aren't we doing that?

They are the employer so of course they can do any or all of these things. But would you feel comfortable with idiot 1a (Blake James) and idiot 1b (Mark Richt) making any of these new hires? At this point, might as well just let the ship sink next season so we can then figure out if the University really cares about winning......cough cough Urban Meyer cough cough.

I certainly do not trust James or Richt. Not one bit. I simply can't trust this problem will fix itself by doing nothing, though.

I certainly understand this thought process but, in reality, what coach worth anything would come here to coach next year with this sinking ship? This is real life and there are families, etc. that are uprooted every time a coach moves to another place. No sane person is going to come here for a 1 year gig unless they are also at the end of the line like Richt is.

There are a lot of coaches that would like a chance. Mike Leach would give Shalala's left nut to coach here.
 
I’m with all of you and don’t expect changes and what Moark is doing is ignorant and seems purposefully.
The only thing I’m thinking is that Blake has to know his job is onnthe line. He will never get another AD gig. So now Mark is giving him a big fat middle finger... what will he do to safe the “best” job he’ll ever get
