Richt is owed alot of money, golden just sued UM for $3m. They are not going to eat Richt's salary and pay for another coach.

i can see them firing a couple of coaches.

Can you name two he'd actually fire? Not who he should, but two he actually would? Three of the defensive coaches just got promotions and the fourth is rumored to want out on his own. The QB coach is his son. Hard to place blame on the TE coach. TB is Richt's must loyal lieutenant and Richt has had a 30 year hard on for Dugans. He MIGHT do something about Searels. But I have a haaaard time seeing him get to two.
