We should put mostly starters and a few second stringers on specials to shore up tackling.
It’s what JJ did and it’s what Beamer and other successful ST coaches do/did in the past. Right now, we have many 3rd stringers and DT’s on specials and the unit is leaky. For example, we have Nesta and Demetrius Jackson out there on Punt Coverage. That don’t make sense to me, especially Demetrius
That, said it does nothing for the kicking game but you’ll shore up the tacking
