Its extremely unlikely, unless something goes wrong.
Other than Mensah getting a low NFL draft grade I don't see him coming back. I would love for him to run it back but hard to pass on being drafted in the 1st round especially given how it worked oout of Dante Moore.

He is going to be a 1st round pick question is how high he goes. Kids want to compete at the highest level. If money is on his mind and a priority, well the sooner he starts the sooner he gets to the 2nd contract.

what about Dante Moore? He came back to college still made $5-10 million…and is still going to get 1st rd money in NFL. he got hurt- he’s not dead or career ended

if he has a good pro day - he will be first round pick. period. maybe not 1 overall. But sometimes its better to go 26 overall to a playoff team than what Cam Ward endures

Man yall hate Nickel.

Give that boy some superstars to throw to and he could be electric.

Hes nothing like a game manager. Pure gunslinger. And a dawg.

You still bring in a stud transfer and then have competition. Nickel can win the job. Would make a great cfb story to say Miami brought in a highly paid transfer QB but the QB on our roster earned the starting spot through a fair competition.

Waste of money that could’ve gone to someone on the LOS or a G**** linebacker that can cover. I trust the staff will evaluate whether they think anyone on the roster can be the guy

Luke Nickel is a WINNER and leader at every level so far. My concern was arm skrenth and knowing where to go with the ball. Watching him play, I'm no longer worried about his arm. If we have a slam dunk portal guy, which I think there are about 2 total, we take them. If not Nickel and the rest of the guys don't worry me at all.
agreed. you 100% hand a starting job to kamario or dante moore. probably sellers but he's been surging lately and if that keeps up he should go pro. the oregon state QB i have to imagine is a package deal with the OC but i question his physical tools against better comp. outside of that, i don't see a sure thing out there. JKS is intriguing- hyper-talented but very inconsistent. i'm not sure i'm that much more comfortable handing him the keys than letting the internal guys fight it out. certainly wouldn't be opposed to bringing in an experienced guy to compete, but otherwise let nickel, coleman, and abrams at it and see who comes out on top.

This is why you come to Miami. Massive program on a national stage. No need for these kids to go SEC anymore. Look at all the attention Miami gets nowadays it’s unreal. Main ESPn Twitter account posting this
