I can understand the ticket office saying that the FSU game is sold out, but FIU 3 months before the season?

From what I saw the line was both FSU & FIU took their full allotment leaving no other tickets available. You know **** well FIU is going to take all they can, not that they have the demand, but trying to keep them out of Miami fans hands.
The FIU "section" will easily be 1/3 Miami fans.

That said it won't surprise me at all if it's a sell out.

The only FIU fans that will be at the game are the players' parents and even then most of them will be secretly cheering for Miami.

Last time I was at an FIU anything was about 2-3 years ago for a regional on campus, and it was still about 80% Miami. That’s baseball. I’d expect about 90% Miami more or less in the stadium. Maybe a little more FIU, but no more than 10K.

Might just be that there’s some bad blood from us to them and local interest. Who knows.

May be a case of selling those two games together as a package a little bit later. UM has done this before to drive up attendance at the lesser game.

I was at the ucf fiu game 2 seasons ago and it was basically all ucf fans. All the "fiu" fans at the game will be wearing orange and green except for parents.

Nobody there’s to cheer for Butch. Believe me.

Matter of fact, I wasn’t even thinking about him when I made my first post.

I think a lot of us fans appreciate what Butch did for the program during that time, but also have a bad taste in our mouths for how he went about the exit. I go back and forth on him getting some of the blame for leaving us with Coker to begin with. But that's my own battle in my head.
