I agree with you.
But, I also don't think our BOT or AD care about things like job resumes and coaching qualifications. The hiring of Manny Diaz (who had never been a HC at any level) without even pretending to do a search for a new HC or interviewing potential candidates should make that very clear to everyone.

It isn’t even close, kiffin is better as a head coach and assuredly as a recruiter. I guarantee if we had kiffin Miami would recruit at an elite level and you wouldn’t have to worry about the offense

I don't even like Kiffing or Mario but they were better options then and now. They fit what we need.....first of all the HC is suppose to hire a recruiting staff that can hold weight in sfla regardless of record.

Because the future provides hope....it's like having unlimited first picks in the draft if your located in sfla. Right now there is no hope that's why he needs to be fired

One good season? That's a bit of hyperbole, don't you think? I'd consider those 9 win seasons while we were hampered by crippling sanctions a success. Not to mention going 4-0 in Bowl games while at Miami. And you can't seriously believe that after going 11-1 in 2000, that Butch wouldn't have faired as well as Coker, who basically put the team Davis built on autopilot and won two rings (yes, two. **** Ohio State). Btw, the Browns have had the #1 overall pick for the past 20 years and Butch is still the last guy to have them in the playoffs. I'd consider 8-5 and 9-4 at the likes of FIU to be pretty successful too.
