And we should care because? Congrats, he beat midmajor garbage, Lane Kiffin won said conference, apparently it's not all that **** good.
 
All you need is competent coaches at FIU and FAU and you should win easy in ConfUSA. Just pluck leftovers the Power5 doesn't want and you could build a dynasty in the conference.

The same goes for UCF and USF in the American. Should be easy street.
 
I guess I care about this about as much as I do UCF winning some garbage conference which is basically none at all.

Which was the exact reason I thought Cristobal would have been a terrible hire when he was getting mentions to replace Golden. He should have owned that conference if he was any good.

not sure how old some of you are but even though he made mistakes, we might not have a program if it wasnt for him.
 
Congrats to Butch...you guys remember him because he left...I remember him for getting us through some very tough sanctions and putting together the greatest team CFB has ever seen and will ever see.
If they hadn’t jacked him around about his contract I doubt he leaves and Lord knows how many NC we’d have.
