First beem of the ipf up

Da fug are you even trying to say? Frenk was about to hire Schiano before the gift of Richt fell into his lap. This IPF is being built because Richt donated $1 mil of his own cash to get this thing rolling. Why are we talking about administrators that will always fck over this university? Frenk is no different. We should be talking about Richt's generosity and desire to see this program succeed like no other coach in our history ever has.
I am agreeing with you. The TROLL is Shalala and the problem she destroyed our great program single handily. Everything has changed since she left.

I'm not agreeing with you. Shalala didn't do jack ****, just like Frenk isn't doing jack ****, just like Foote didn't do jack ****. Coker, Shannon, and Golden were all viewed as good hires at the time. ****, a lot of people on here were bashing Richt when we hired him. Many people were asking why our beloved university was hiring someone else's discarded trash. Prior to Richt falling into our lap, the candidates for the job were Schiano and Mullen. Yall act like it was between Richt, Chip Kelly and Saban. None of the presidents really give a **** what happens, just as long as we have a good image and are profitable. For some reason there's a group of people on here who are downright obsessed with Donna Shalala and it's more than likely due to her politics than anything else.
Those three hires were all viewed as bargain basement hires. Golden was the only one with any head coaching experience, and that was at freaking Temple. We all hoped each one would do well, but none of them were qualified.

Exactly. Ask anyone who knew and they would shake their heads at all of those hires upon being announced. When Coker was hired, I shook my head and said "Well, we had a good run." I thought old Larry proved me wrong right off the bat. Apparently, I was right in the first place. Then when Shannon was hired, I was nauseous. I was told we had to resort to him because the Big East was suing us for leaving and Shannon was the best choice in that price range. PRICE RANGE!? We were only a few years removed from our last National Title and even less from our last BCS bowl win! Miami should have had boosters and money to spare! So we promote the assistant of the guy so bad we had to fire. Then we fired him and offered Gruden. Whoa! Now we're talking...no...wait...no. How about Trestman, Golden or Edsall? Ugh. Fine.

Yeah everyone knew, huh. Everyone knew Richt would be trash too. I mean why would we hire someone Georgia just fired?

Shalala was garbage at Wisconsin. It has nothing to do with politics. Also, it is not just about the HC. The school now has money for assist coaches, they went out and got the best DL coach in the country and gave him a raise to keep him here. The troll gave two ****s about football.

Hmm, that money didn't come from the new stadium deal, the new apparel deal and the conference realignment deals, did it? Nah I bet Frenk reallocated the money away from academics like any president would. Because Frenk just loves football, like everyone whose spent most of their life in Mexico does.

Frenk has done more in 2 years than the troll did the entire time she was here. Also, I don’t care where the guy is from as long he wants a winner and good product on the field. UM merchandise sales are up 600% this year.

Finally, some tangible progress. Never saw a project slow-rolled as much as this one. Groundbreaking was when?

Yeah it's weird because Frenk moved all the money from academics into the IPF the day he got here. It was part of his pitch to the board of trustees. Shalala must've gotten involved or something.

Maybe he likes $$$$ and when Miami is good it makes $$$$$. Making $$$$$ is a good thing.

Yes I agree. That's why he identified the IPF needed to be built right away. Our coaching search was down to Chip Kelly and Tom Herman before Richt blew them all out of the water.

I get it, you did not like the Coach Richt hire.

I'm not saying everyone knew, I'm saying people who knew better. If you are asking my opinion, Coker, Shannon and Golden made me worry when they got the job. When Richt got it, I was ecstatic. I wanted him to be our coach for the previous decade. Richt had 2 conference titles before being hired by us. His predecessors had 0.

I'm not asking your opinion on that. Anyone can put down here what their thoughts were in a way to make it seem like they're a genius. I think most of us would've preferred Richt each time the job was open, and I truly believe that if Richt wanted the job we would've paid him at any point. I mean, why would we be asking him to interview if we weren't ready to pay him then? We were literally days away from another cheap hire this time around too, because people don't realize who's really doing the hiring and it ain't the president.

LOL, Frenk walked around campus with the turnover chain! The troll would NEVER and there wouldn't have been an opportunity because she wouldn't have allowed it in the first place. Pickle Richt has got to be Caneinheelcountry.

Right, but who hired Hocutt and Eichorst? Heck, one could give some blame to Foote for hiring Paul Dee since he hired Coker and Shannon. I don't think I'm alone in saying Mullen was a better hire than Golden, but "he acted like he invented the game of football" so the rest is history.

Also, Shalala failed to keep up with the rest of college football. After she got the job and Miami had 2 runs at the title, the rest of college football exploded with spending. Despite us moving into the ACC, our spending remained stagnant. That's beyond coach hiring. That's budget.

The turnover chain was actually Frenk's idea.

LOL, who hired Blake James? Clearly in retrospect Mullen has proven to be a better coach than Golden, **** anyone would've been better. We lagged behind for a long time, and so did Florida State. We sat high on our laurels for a long time and took someone like Richt to come in here and change things. Our spending changed when the opportunity changed. We would've gone cheap with Schiano too.

Now can we just remove Donna shalllllalalalalalaallalalalaals name from all other buildings...

Tad Footed failed in destroying the football program. Jimmy and Erickson would not allow it. The troll succeed in hiring losers and incompetent individuals that lead to 15 years of mediocrity.

Shannon was not viewed as a good hire. Since when is promoting a coach from a failed regime considered a good hire?

I know I said it too. I said watch he's gonna go 5-7, 7-6, 9-4, and 7-5 and get fired. But no one wanted to listen to me.

Alright guys, this is a really groundbreaking argument (see what I did there?), but we’ve heard from the Shalala defenders and detractors (of which, I am one) before. Let it go, shake hands, and let’s celebrate this **** beam, or column, or pillar..., going up!

Go Canes

It's not about defending Shalala. It's about giving Richt the credit he deserves and not shoveling it over to the administrators who really don't give a ****.
