Fired Up and Can't Wait

One thing that stands out to me about Shaq is he seems to not only understand the standards at Miami but he embraces it. You can tell his confidence is high, he’s a leader on this team and is injecting that culture into this program, once again. Shaq wants to be great and win. This is why Miami produces so many successful athletes in the NFL like nobody else. Because of kids like him. The knowledge and experience you get from this school prepares you up for success in the NFL and life after the NFL.

We never know where we are sitting until a week or so before the away games

Sounds right.

I know I’ll be above you guys. When I got my tix I picked level 3....sounds high, but I got the very first row, so I should be ok. Of course I’m pumped for the game, but for all the times I’ve been to Dallas for business, I’ve never been to Jerry’s world, so kind of looking forward to see what that place is all about.

Pretty sure that won’t be the last time you or Shaq go there either, unless he’s drafted into the AFC, even then there’s crossovers so y’all will be back at some point.

I can't wait, my good friends and neighbors went to the kickoff classic a few years ago there for UF vs Mich. They graduated from UF (I know, I know) but they said to definitely go to that stadium if I ever got the chance, they said it was amazing. I'm also eager to see it, it's supposedly the best stadium, with ours second. I was amazed at the improvement at Hard Rock, so I'm interested to see that one.

First round talent with first round character. Congrats on raising such an impressive young man!

Gonna be a great year! See you in Atlanta?

Technically, since it’s newer, ie, built from scratch at an earlier date than ours, I would expect it to be “better” in the sense of tech, architecture, etc. So I’m really looking forward to it. Also that big *** jumbotron the middle is the shlt, people tell me if you’re not careful you end up watching it almost too much.

But think about it, our stadium went from ho hum, to be spoken in the same breath as probably the most state of the art football only stadium in the world. Not saying HRS is as good as Jerry's world, but even being remotely close makes ours a top 5 stadium, or higher, in the US, bar none.

And those of us that were at the games last year, especially Notre Dame and VagTech, know that when it’s rocking then it’s one of the best if not the best.

So ready for the season to start! Best personnel since the Butch days and excellent depth. Kids will be fresh on every snap. Shaq is going to eat with Willis, Bethel, Ford and Odenigbo clearing paths.

Like to counteract that dislike. Then I looked and saw who. Lol smh #CISBeef

Yeah I lol’d too. I mean it’s a message board, we’re all going to disagree from time to time, and I don’t mind or worry about disagreements or downvotes, but that right there is a special head case

Absolutely agree. Hard Rock went from a deterrent to a selling point for recruiting. I was also shocked at the level of attendance for VT and ND and especially the noise. I couldn't even hear my cousin sitting next to me. Brought back memories of us at the OB watching all the classic FSU games.

Jerry World is amazing. You will love it.

Jerry World will NEVER come close to the noise and atmosphere that The Rock now brings. Both are modern, but they are VERY different in what they are and what they do well.

Yea, it’ll be interesting to contrast them.

I plan on checking out that Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta this year as well for the **** of it. Since I know I’ll be in Atlanta a couple of times this fall, I might just fly in on a Sunday instead of Monday, and catch a Falcons game.

I’ve been to a few of our usual suspect college stadiums, and have hit quite a few MLB baseball stadiums in my travels, just for the **** of it, but hardly any pro NFL stadiums at all.
