You exhale, they tighten.

I'm not a football analyst like so many here are - and I admire that. I hear terms I don't even know WTH they mean.

I probably have this all wrong, but I saw an IU team that didn't have a lot of plays - but the ones they called - they were so practiced, and so smooth, and so well timed - they worked when they really needed them to.

Our team was more talented, and gave them some fits - but smooth execution gave them a bit more to rely on.

Their receivers seemed to get open more and made more out of the passing plays - and our guys ran the basic pattern - and very little scrambling once the route was so well covered.

What's the sweet spot for us?

They got open bc we gave the 10 yard cushions and were missing 2 DB’s. That disappeared when Lucas came back.

Sure the yardage was 110ish to 70ish per half, so it doesn’t seem like a UF difference but they only completed 4 or 5 passes all 2nd half. 2 to Becker, one short one that Cooper broke for close to 20. That’s really it.

Shannon dawson is now and has been a liability with his play calling. The fact we were able to put 280 up in the second half when it mattered shows exactly what a liability he is. We gave that game away. I don't care what anyone says about that. He either forces the obvious or runs gimmicks continuously. I can't even talk about this nonsense right now I'm so disappointed. I'm still just sitting in my car at the stadium disgusted enough that I can't even drive right now. Stupidity on both sides of the ball cost us this game. Heatherman with an entire half where he gives a QB who thrives on underneath routes with relatively slow receivers and we're bailing pre snap to 8-10 yard cushions. Two more simple interceptions dropped. More and more stupid penalties. More and more dumb *** plays by the linebacker core. Not even gonna say anything other than **** ETHAN O'CONNOR & HIS TRASH ***. He needs to be shown his walking papers before we do exit interviews.

Never been high on dawson. Always laughed when somone made a thread about him becoming a HC. Dude is easily Miami's weakest link coaching wise sve for the TE coach who just left. Position definately needs to be upgraded. Dawson is boarderline trash.and the fact he featured the woirse player on Miami's team for a series in the championship game should be grounds for termination

Yeah and these clowns on here make up lies that Dawson isn't leaving unless its p4 job, he is very picky. Meanwhile the hick is interviewing for USM and ECU. How does that make sense.

Also that is high thought of... where ? He is an OC that call plays, if they are "legit" they usually have job right away.
