You were 100% right. Richt shouldn’t have been allowed to finish the season.

If they fired Richt in season, there may have been a professional coaching search and a professional coaching hire, instead of this amateur bullshlt and “panic hires”.

This program is worse off because it allowed Richt to blindside it after the season ended. People bring up the buyout Richt left on the table.. well, it was nullified by the temple buyout.

He was one year removed from being the #2 team in the nation.. He should walk away from 20 million dollars due to one bad season simply bc he's a Christian? Heaven would be pretty empty if you were the judge.

He was probably trying to flow out one of those trademark recaps but the underwhelming, mediocre-repetitiveness of the Canes effort for a decade and a half of Ground Hog Day seasons , finally caught up with him and short-circuited his brain. There's is, after all only so much of this a mere mortal can take.
