No, thank you, Mario… and thank you to this entire team.

The last few months have been really dark in my household. My father-in-law passed away from stage 4 cancer just two days before Christmas. But this team and this playoff run have brought some much-needed light and happiness.

I thought last year with Ward brought so much joy, even with the disappointing ending. But this season, especially the last month or two, has truly given me the most happiness I’ve felt as a fan in 25 years.

I’m so ******* proud of these boys. They literally pulled off the toughest and best playoff run in CFP history.

I love this team, and will forever be grateful for this season.

Now let’s go get it next year, boys.

I laughed a little.

Proud of this team.

Yessir brotha. Keep on fighting the good fight OG. I am grateful as well for this run. The bar has been set for next squad. Gonna be tough to replace 4 & 3 production, presence, and leadership. Looking forward to the offseason and how it transpires. Stay blessed brotha‼️

So sorry for your loss, brother. I lost my dad 9 days ago. That is far more important than any game could ever be.

I’m proud of our Canes. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I’m sorry brother. Loss of a parent hits in a way we just don’t expect. Football is a great escape and the canes gave us something we haven’t experienced in so long. I love these dudes. Bauman a little less lol

Thank you so much, brother. My dad was my hero. A great man, and I will always miss him. But he’s in a far better place now. He suffered a lot the last 2 years of his life, after already having endured more than a lot of people do throughout his life.

Despite all of that, he never complained. Taught us how to be good, honorable, honest men with integrity. A giant of a man intellectually too, and a huge Canes fan. It hurts real bad, but I know that I’ll see him again.

I lost my father several years ago. He suffered at the end but not for long. I hope when my time comes I can handle it half as well. Hope to see the canes win a few more championships first.
