Yes. I would absolutely take Ed O over Mario. Ed has no ego when it comes to scheme. He will adapt to whatever system wins on both sides of the ball. And not only is Ed O very familiar with recruiting in S Fl, he would be inexpensive.

Everyone said Lane was washed when leaving FAU. I disagreed. And turns out I was right. And I think Ed O would win a championship as Miami HC. Cristobal gets credit for building the foundation but he has peaked.

Look I wanted Mario to succeed. I personally know one of his best friends who has told me many times that no one loves the program more than Mario. I don’t disagree. But unfortunately he is what he is. And he isn’t a championship caliber HC. No coach who loses when a double digit favorite as much as he does is going to win a championship.

At this point in time, I'm not sure that just anyone else would not be better. I don't necessarily think its one name or bust for the next HC.

Again, no one is trying to hire Mario away. That tells you everything you need to know.

Lane could run a constant TRAIN in this Mickey Mouse conference!!!! I love plane and wanted him over meathead 💯
Having said that
My daughter is at Ole Miss and I want him to stay there!!!!

But

If Miami would lose out and force BOD to fire our meathead coach, Lane would entertain it imo

He would know he could get all the talent in the world and only have to beat the Louisvilles of the world!!!

Hire a cerebral coach and preserve your commitment to the NIL and this program elevates immediately. If there was a wonderlic test for coaches, Mario would score very poorly. It’s beyond frustrating to watch our administration make mistake after mistake after mistake after…

Ok I will be honest … I would hate to be FSU or UF right now .. stuck in no man’s land with a horrible coach that buying out puts them back 5 years! **** I will say it … I’m so use of mediocrity that 9/10 wins is a success! Granted I’m also a dolphins fan!
 
Miami’s basically a mid major program. If we started treating it as such—and hired the football version of Coach L—we’d be in much better shape. Instead, the football program’s been destroyed by the Coral Gables mafia.
