I got season tickets dumbass. Nice try tho. I'm sure that'll be another excuse for your BF golden tho when we lose a game at home to a interior opponent. There wasn't enough fans in the stands we feed off that crowd noise and we didn't have any. Keep on slurping

Miami Fans Donate Nearly $1,600 To Fly A “Fire Al Golden” Banner Over UM Game At Virginia Tech

Miami fans are done with head coach Al Golden, and they are prepared to open their wallets to prove it. On October 16, one fan launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $1,580 in order to have a “Fire Al Golden” banner flown over Lane Stadium before Miami’s game at Virginia Tech.
These donations will be used to fly a banner prior to the UM at Virginia Tech game in Blacksburg, on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Let’s let Al Golden know that he can’t hide from us at road games either. Our talented players deserve a coaching staff and administration that will bring The U back. It is year 4 of Al Golden’s coaching tenure and we have regressed to being 4th place in the ACC coastal division. We demand better.

After just a few days, and 40 donations, the fundraiser has met its goal.

We have met our goal, the banner will be in the air from roughly 5:30-6:15. Thanks everyone for all the donations. Our Players deserve better and the fans taking a stand will not be ignored.

The highest donation towards the cause was $200. A few of the tip messages were rather creative.

The ACC Coastal is still very much up in the air, and a win over Virginia Tech would put Miami, which already has a win over division favorite Duke, at 2-1. Perhaps Golden can win back the fan base with a few big wins, but this is a bad look for the Canes head coach.

I root for the Canes all the time moron. People who cannot grasp the concept that short term wins will do nothing but hurt the program LONG TERM don't deserve to root for this program.

So like I said...take your short sightedness elsewhere. When I root for the Canes to lose in the current state of affairs...I'm firmly rooting FOR the program. I want what's best for the football program.

The fact is causes Golden Slurpers to foam at the mouth is a GREAT side benefit!

I'm not cheering for Vag Tech. I want my canes to win in a sloppy crappy coached game but will never cheer for them to lose.
