Fire Golden banner for VT game

I can't believe I have to keep posting this. Golden has not brought the program success. But there is nothing, nothing even close to resembling a 48-0 loss to Virginia at home. You think there are banners now. If Golden puts one of those on his resume there will indeed be protests in the streets.

Not for Shannon though. God I had high hopes for him.
Sorry to tell you but we had one player drafted from that team of draft eligible players. People act like Shannon got a loaded roster from Coker. No he didn't. We had a punter playing WR. We had Kyle Wright and Kirby Freeman at QB and Pat Nix for a OC.....that's who we come could afford. It was horrible to watch us get trampled by UVA at home but that wasn't on Shannon. That was the culmination of the systematic neglect that took root at Miami since Davis left. Sorry to burst your bubble. We never got blown out by a bottom feeder again after that season. Can't say the same right now...can we?

Wait wah . . . ? It was VIRGINIA. AT HOME. Our "bottom feeder" blow out loss this year was what, an 11 pointer at 5-2 G'Tech in a game we were leading at the half? There are bad losses, and then there was the VA loss. Probably the worst in the last 40 years of UM football.

Have you Folden Faygs really degenerated to the point of claiming success for only getting blown out by 30 instead of 40 points. Folden has been blown out more than Pauly D's hair. The piece of **** gets blown out every time he plays a team with a pulse.

What the fck are you even trying to hang your hockey helmet on with this absurd **** you're arguing? Take a knee and regroup or voluntarily put yourself on a post count because your posts get worse each time you hit that submit button.

Say what you will brah That 2007 team was Coker's team. Plain and simple. We went to K st and got swamped. We got drubbed by UL in our own state, in a bowl game u had a month to prepare for. Got taunted. I'm not going to count them up, its too mnay. Ok. It sucked because it was the last game in the OB but to act like they were worst than anything Golden has done gimi a break. We have talent and still get slaughtered now. Year 4

Taint no one here defending Golden. The claim was Golden v Shannon. I generally loathe ancient history, but since the board seems obsessed by Butch and Shannon (oh, how absence makes the heart grow fonder). . . . That year VA had nine wins. One was by 30 over a dreadful Pitt team (a familiar corch, I believe). Seven others were by a total of 22 points. So those 8 wins by 52. And, a certain win against Miami. At least Golden's blowout losses were against ranked teams on the road.

Comparing this to Louisville this year is silly. At their place, with the number 1 D in the country, with a rookie QB? Surely you jest (and I did call you Shirley).

Poignant

It's all about players and teams reaching their full potential. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that neither players or the team are reaching potential.

wish shapiro was here that ni**a would fund 10 banners a week, and cocaina, and *******!

bring back butch and nevin

This is a bad idea. It's probably people that didn't even attend the university that are behind this. There's more to the U than just football.

True, but FOOTBALL put the University of Miami on the map and has brought the school in Millions upon Millions of Dollars that has allowed the other programs at Miami to be started and flourish.

Like the idea of the banner on the road. To me it sends a much louder, stronger message. I would support both a banner flying over VT and UVA!
