With four coaches already canned and Spuirrier resigning, the field for a quality coach to come to Miami is getting slimmer..Appears at least 6 more coaches (including Al ) will face probable termination by seasons end..Some of the other schools are getting the jump on us for the eventual change at the "U"

If we get lucky, the ONLY coach left in America to hire that will take the Miami job will again be Butch Davis.
 
We should have fired him after FSU (well we should have awhile ago) we cant get left at the altar, other teams are already making moves
 
Then the excuse from the Admin and fake James is there were no quality coaches out there. Lets give Frauden one more year to fix things.
 
The logical move would be to get Butch in the fold and "release the hounds" on the recruiting trail while there is still time - this is already a lost season and everyone knows it. Instead, the clowns in the administration will continue to stall and further damage the program.
 
A lot of coaches with a job won't be signing with teams until after the season so it's okay as long as you act quickly at the end of the season. Burch will go late as I don't think a lot of other schools will give him an early look. Herman will be coaching in a January bowl.

I have this feeling we're stuck with golden, people going to the games and buying Miami merchandise will be the ones you can put fault on for keeping this clown . BOTS care about money and the idiots who keep buying tickets and merchandise keep them in the money$ Buying a ticket and not showing up does nothing they still get paid.

hopefully at least fuente is left. this admin will probably end up hiring someone like mario cristobal though

They say they want to wait until the season is over because they want to hold out hope that he can sneak into the ACC title game so that they can point to him winning something("The Coastal") and call it progress, but even they know if he tail spins these next 3 games, the season is over and so is career as a Power 5 HC.
 
I'm sure there is a coach in waiting already but with all these openings including that of the Miami Dolphins and I'm sure there will be some more NFL teams pop up by the time that post season play starts.

This is honestly what I am hoping for. Hopefully Herman stays at Houston, Chud stays in the pros, Cristobal says he's not ready, etc...
 
Unless the administration changes their mind on the course of the football program, they will be looking for another Aldo, a yes man.

. Look around 99%of firings happen after the year. If Miami decides to fire golden then can very easily go behind the scenes and gauge interest. Plus NO Coach is going to be hired before the season is over yet you think they are going to sign with Maryland before setting jobs come open. . Nonsense. The only reason to fire him now is to please a segment of the fan base
 
All these firings are bad for us with this incompetent Athletic Department and BOT.
 
Technically Al still has time to win the division. Until we are eliminated there is no chance they let him go mid-season. If we are eliminated I would guess they wait until after Pitt. If there is a date later than the bowls where the buyout decreases a significant amount he will be the coach until that day IMO.
