FIRE BLAKE JAMES

Fake is still a problem, yea he got lucky with Diaz, not sure that was his call though.
Handled Mork's situation terribly, never saw the retirement coming.
Distribution of the Florida tickets sounds like it was a disaster for some.
Still has not announced a final date and where the spring game is going to be.
Spring practice starts in 3 weeks.
Keeps scheduling too many powderpuff games, this years strength of schedule could be an issue at the end. Needs to realize SOS is huge.
Never forget the picture of him and Richt on the NY Stock exchange podium jumping up and down.
Seems like Manny is distancing himself from Fake, which is good.
If we only had a real AD that's actually brings something to the program, hard to believe he is still here.
Now he is going to ride on the coat tails of Manny.

Strength of schedule don’t mean **** to a Power 5 school. Win all your games and you’re in the playoffs.

But I do agree that James is ******* terrible and needs to go

James is also on my shlt list, but you’re wrong about the schedule. Your SOS comment is incorrect with respect to the way CFB works in 2019.

Look at Alabama’s or any other SEC team’s schedule and get back to me.

Only a moron would willingly put us at a scheduling disadvantage.

Really, based on what?

The lack of accurate and meaningful complaints in this post are pretty incredible.

Payoff committee looks at SOS especially if you have 1 loss, and they look hard at who and how you lost.
Would be great to win all the games as well as the ACC game and walk right into the playoffs.

I try to educate you people about this, but it doesn’t seem to get through.

Understood but their SEC schedule helps, plus Alabama is a huge player for CF.
Just remember watching the CFB committee go through their selection procedure and SOS was mentioned a lot, especially with a 1 loss team

Georgia’s ooc schedule last year was Austin Peay, Middle Tennessee State, UMass and Georgia Tech.

Not only that but Clemson plays one good out of conference team early (A&M last year, Auburn the year before and South Carolina) and then the Atlantic and a couple of teams from the Coastal.

Ohio State almost never leaves Ohio until it is a conference game. Playing TCU in Jerry World is as rare as Florida leaving the state for a non-conference game. What kept them out the last 2 seasons was getting embarrassed at Iowa and at Purdue.

Win your conference and you are in the discussion. Beat Clemson for the ACC title and you in the playoff 8 out of 10 times.

Agree, this year depends on the Martell decision, he's Manny's guy.
We're not going clean this year with Perry or Williams at QB.
Next year would be a different story with Manny's guy.

We cannot put ourselves at a scheduling disadvantage.

Let’s review one more time.

Almost all P5 teams, virtually 100% of teams with a conference championship, schedule is as follows:

1 OOC P5 opponent

8 conference games

2 G5/FBS-non-P5 teams (almost always a cupcake)

1 FCS cupcake

That’s 12 games with an additional conference championship game if they qualify. Three of the games are with non-P5 opponents.

Only an idiot would put our team at a competitive disadvantage with playoff contenders like Alabama, and substitute in a P5 five team for one of the three non-P5 cupcake teams.

So with the Alabama example, we would play one less cupcake they would play one more cupcake, and therefore we would be at a scheduling disadvantage (and at greater risk for one additional loss) to a team that is certainly going to be in the playoff picture. Why do that? It is just not done nor should it be.

There endeth the lesson.

For the umpteenth time.
