We were 2-3 interceptions away from 12-0, easy. But honestly, without the SMU loss, I’m not sure we don’t drop another game — that was the wake-up call Mario and Dawson needed... the adjustment and 4-game run after showed we’re a legit playoff team. Sucks we handed it to the committee, because you know they’d rather jam in ND, Bama, and/or Texas than actually look at the resumes.
