I get it how starved we are for our team to do well, and even I get a little hopeful when the narrative by anyone is positive or favorable to Miami, but let’s not forget “My enemy’s enemy is my friend.” These mouthpieces make these statements that ultimately serve their interests in the big picture, just like some of the posts above are stating. He's full of it, if he also isn't stumping for us to get in over Bama (Oklahoma too but let's focus on Bama). We both have two loses, the average FPI of the two teams we lost to is similar (27 for us, 25 for Bama). We are playing better to end the year. We shouldn't be 2 spots below them; probably a spot or two above. We absolutely shouldn't need them to get blown out or suffer an injury to their QB in the SEC CG for them to fall behind us, which is what the gamblers think needs to happen.
