Finally, UM cares again

The most important thing we need to know is if Butch is #3 . Richt, Mullen, Butch all great hires. Most of you hate Schiano, but he'd even be the best coach we've had here since Butch left. Hopefully it does not come to that.
 
Amazing how you guys take reporters words as gospel. Barry Jackson had golden keeping his job through the season. He has no idea if schiano is number 2. Nor does anyone else

I'm praying that is true (assuming Butch is no longer in the top 2). My biggest fear is that Richt turns us down and we get stuck with Schiano by default.

Let's be real this batch of coaches is better than what we thought it would be but it doesn't mean that they didn't botch the search.

Coach 1 - Fired from his job for under achieving
Coach 2 - Fired from his job for evidently cheating
Coach 3 - Would be a very unpopular hire and was fired from his NFL job which isn't a knock per se.
Coach 4 - Wants the job but is too abrasive and arrogant for the school


Yeah, I'd say they botched the search

Coach 3 was also 28 - 48 in a mediocre conference. No idea what the appeal is with this guy.

Dude, you are usually a good poster. In this case though, you are very wrong. Blake, Stuart and a bunch of other folks have really made a concerted effort. Doesnt mean they will make the absolute best choice, but at least we are not settling for the cheapest alternative.

Okay, I am wrong because Spike said so. Thanks Spike. You can blow Blake all you want for a concerted effort, which I don't even think he is the leader of this effort (DiMare).

Dude, have you heard his comments over the years? Dude, have you seen any evidence of competence? Our AD fell **** backwards into the job, he isn't qualified for his alma mater. Congrats on the effort Blake. Potentially hiring someone else's garbage. Kudos!
