Too soon to say, but it's a fact that Dillingham in his 2nd year accomplished more than Mario has in his 3 years here and he inherited an even worse team. Facts are facts
Kind of like Larry Coker and Brady Hoke.

Bowl games are meaningless you know? And the ACC is what, 2-9 in bowl games? Great, we played a tougher schedule than Clemson, but the ACC still sucks
Yeah, some real scrubs he left behind on that 10 win Pac-12 runner-up team.this is not even remotely true about the cupboard being full. DL didnt want marios holdovers.
youre about to look dumbYeah, some real scrubs he left behind on that 10 win Pac-12 runner-up team.
Give me a break.
This is exactly where I am on this. I don't care about Lanning or Oregon. Mario is a terrible coach and everyone knew it at the time UM hired him. His saving grace was that he was an "elite recruiter." I'm sorry, but I haven't seen elite recruiting at UM from Mario. He had highly ranked classes, but al lot of those highly ranked recruits, have left or busted.Mario sucks regardless of Lanning.
And Manny left behind X, George, Rivers, Arroyo, Rodriguez and had Isiah Horton committed before he was fired. That's our TOP 3 WRs, top TE, and a starting OL that were playing for Mario 3 years into his HC tenure. But many on here say Mario had to build from nothing. GTFOHYeah, some real scrubs he left behind on that 10 win Pac-12 runner-up team.

Evals and development are definitely questions. On top of it all, with NIL now what it is, his recruiting skill set has been equalized by $ more so than ever. It’s like we invested big time in mp3 technology right before the creation of on line music clouds like SoundCloud and Spotify. This is exactly where I am on this. I don’t know what we are anymore. I was around before we won anything so I have seen it all. It’s frustrating as **** though. I just want to be Boise State at this point. I feel pretty defeated honestly.so are we Napster or Limewire?
That's right i remember that year. Lost to a depleted Auburn team and Bo Nix in his first start at a neutral site game. Lost to a pathetic AZ St team. Again losing to people he had no business losing too to miss out on the playoffs. Man story of his career huh? Just enough to get you all hot and bothered. Not good enough to do anything of real substance. That beat down he gave Utah in 2019 to win the Pac 12 championship was arguably his best win. Utah was #5 poised to make 4 team playoff, and Mario and Oregon beat them down. He then beat #8 Wisconsin to win Rose Bowl.
You cant just play one side of the narrative.
Also yes he got the Covid chance at Pac 12 title, but he rolled into Los Angeles and beat #13 Southern Cal quasi home game to win the title.
He also left Lanning with one of the best OL rooms in America. And numerous pieces in the defensive front 7. Basically he left Lanning a strong LOS team.
So he won with all of Willie Taggerts players and got progressively worse during his tenure. Is that what you are telling me? Is that what we have to look forward too?
Willie Taggart was the HC of three schools (USF, Oregon, FSU) in 365 days. Mario did not win, lose, or otherwise with anything Taggart brought or left behind. That's right i remember that year. We regressed for no reason? Bro that roster was *** I expected losses in bunches with that ****** roster year one. I said that off rip so I wasn’t shocked it was most people shocked that were the “we have talent cause we Miami” fans that were shocked. He turned over the entire roster when he got there.
hes recruiting at an even better level than mario did.
hes only in his third season ever as an HC.
we regressed in the first year mario took over for no reason whatsoever.
were going on our third DC bc we fired 2 of them. we just produced the worst defense since the dorito days. we also need an entirely new defensive roster entering our fourth year with mario.
but i guess maribros will never stop defending what has been a failure esp given the level of QB play we got this year.
His recruiting now in hindsight looks kind of low key ***. Just being honest asf right now, this is what is the most surprising. He’s a better recruiter than anyone we had since Butch but that’s not saying much. This is exactly where I am on this. I don't care about Lanning or Oregon. Grindrso are we Napster or Limewire?
7 wins to 5 wins and we switched offesnive philosophies for no reason and then mario went back and self corrected back to what we have been running. We regressed for no reason? Ok 1 year off, but you do realize the point still stands right....his best year he lost games he had no business losing to miss the playoffs, and got progressively worse as time went on.This stuff is literally one click away.
Oregon finished 4th in the North division in Mario's first year. In his last year they finished first in the division.
4th to 1st is "got progressively worse"? Good lord. Just look it up first.
Your point was that he was worse than when they started. Which is verifiably false.Ok 1 year off, but you do realize the point still stands right....his best year he lost games he had no business losing to miss the playoffs, and got progressively worse as time went on.
That is not supposed to happen to any kind of coach worth a ****, you realize that right? A "monster" recruiter isn't supposed to get worse as they get their players in. Doesn't bode well for us
