FINAL: Miami Falls to California 12-2 in ACC Tournament Opener

What is there to be positive about exactly?
^^^ This. You can point to good individual seasons for certain guys, or promise from some of the Freshmen, but pretty much every team in the country that's not making the postseason, or making it by the skin of their teeth (like us) can say the same exact thing.

The bar *SHOULD* simply be higher at Miami. While I'm surprised they made it to 30+ wins, a game over .500 in conference and 7-14 on the road is horrific. Not as bad as last year, but still not to the level this program needs to be.

I'm still where I was last year with this program - the leadership needs a refresh, and it needs to be external blood coming in that's been successful elsewhere. The retreads of past Miami glory ain't getting it done - period.

This program should be in supers every year at least. Going 0-2 and 1-2 in regionals has been old for years now. Rad is an idiot for hiring JD when he could have got a guy like Tulo or someone with HC experience at least.

Not as bad as last year,
See, we’re improving

The skippers at coastal Carolina and dbu along with southern miss would be at the top of my list
I dont think Schnall would leave Coastal. Hes an alum and paid very well.

Only selling point would be taking over a program you could potentially win it every year with.

That being said I would love if we at least made the call.

Poach from Oregon again. Take Mark Wasikowski.

Know very little about him but he has them winning games and sweeping 4 games over Oregon State caught my attention.

Interview one of the SEC top assistants and make them say no. I would interview:

Scott Brown Vandy… pitching coach. Enough said
Josh Elander TN - hitting and recruiting coordinator
Nate Thompson Arkansas - hitting and recruiting coordinator
Jason Jackson Bama - pitching coach.
Will Coggin - UGA hitting and recruiting coordinator.

I've been on the Nate Thompson train. That would be my guy.

Some prefer an established and proven guy. I don't blame them.
