@Plymouth99 and @NJshoreCane pretty much already said it but if I am AD I am pulling the trigger now. This way people see a great vacancy before others come abailable.

Also tells players and others that just making a Regional won’t cut it at the house Fraser built.

Like they said 31-25 in a very down ACC without even playing a tough schedule means you don’t deserve to be in the post season. Let a small school with a chance to win something have at it.

This team plays like JD looks in the dugout. No intelligence for baseball and bigger yet NO FIRE. I k ow we didn’t hit that guy in the *** but I wish we did because that means you have a freakin pulse.

Rad needs to get rid of JD tomorrow afternoon.
Keep the remaining coaches in case we do get a bid.
Start the search process for a new head coach.
Secure Cuvet with a new NIL deal.
Try to have a new coach in place as soon as possible.
Roster management should not be an issue, the new coach will only keep 11-13 players from the present roster. If that many....
If the administration is serious about competing at the highest level this coaching needs to take place immediately. The last two years have been an embarrassment for everyone associated with the program.
How does Rad honestly expect this staff to overhaul this roster and be a competitive top 20 team next season?
Today's loss gives us a chance to start a new era in Hurricane baseball.

I got excited when we were winning, but you're supposed to.

The identity of this team has reverted back to the head coach.

The true freshman in the rotation were showing sparks, but the bottom line is that our pitch calling is predictable and inevitable going to be ineffective. This is D1 high level baseball, not high school.

JD and Laz are just not it. Respectable former Cane players but not good coaches at this level, and will never get the same respect as a coach as they earned as players.

And although Laz me6 be a good mental coach, hes not a good pitching coach.

Unfortunately we need a change of scenery. I have watched what Bakich has done at Clemson post Monte Lee and I could only imagine what a guy like that could do in Miami
 
Whats sad/crazy is we think he saved his job cuz of a 1 small run. But ignoring the initial poor play that tanked our season and the end of season collapse?!?!

100%. I think there is a support roll here that could be very valuable. But as a pitching coach they both just seem to be behind on the times and trends.

JD has no emotion or expression. I am fine with stoic and business like. Maybe we dont see the fun side. But the mound visits I've never seen him after a good outing do more than a pat on the back. One time go out there and let a kid like Hugus know "Hey **** of a job" and give him a push or something a bit smile or fire.

I really hope we can just purge the whole staff and start with no ties. But knowing us Rob Cooper and Lovelady are the top of our list.
