Final Class Ranking

Using 247 Class calculator.
If we retain all current commits and add Finley, Carter, Miller, and Richards;
We would be at 253.59, which is good for the #8 ranked class. Meaning we will likely be #5 /6 on ESPN.

Tough to continue to argue that Scout and Rivals downgrade our classes. We've had some fairly high-ranked classes for the past 10-12 years and our teams have blown.

Who cares what Scout rated our class? They're the worst service. Only one I actually pay attention to is 247 and ESPN.

I find myself not into the recruiting that much this year. Waiting for the field results. If Mark can't deliver big on the filed I will just retire from college football. Needs to get to ACC title game and beat Noles at least once. If he does, then the brand takes over next year recruiting should bump up huge -- not Butch like, but really nice.

So why are you in the Recruiting Board section again?

Good question. Nothing happening on the other board? maybe that.

Think we land southall (yes, I know)
And Kobe Jones. In terms of surprises.

We will have a top 20 class. That's best case scenario.

We are already ranked #14 on ESPN with a small number of commits. You're statement is false.

There's a big gap between where ESPN has Miami and the rest of the recruiting sites. ESPN is the only one that has Miami in their top 20 currently.
False 247 has us at #17

Touche'. Regardless, the OP said "we'll have a top 20 class" and right now most recruiting sites have Miami's class rated closer to 20 than to 10. Like I said earlier, unless something drastic happens between now and signing day, the average ranking will end up somewhere in the high teens to lower twenties. Just checked to be sure but right now ESPN has Miami at 14. 247 has Miami at 17. Rivals at 21 and Scout way down at 38.

I didnt say that but ok

except other schools will be adding recruits. i think anywhere between 12 and 15 would be pretty good considering the circumstances.
